If you’re rocking a fragrance inherited from your old man, or relying on a goopy deodorant stick for your olfactory game, it’s time to mix things up. Kick off your new scent strategy with this subtle, summery eau de toilette from Motor City designer John Varvatos. It’s the fragrance equivalent of your favorite jeans and a just-washed tee: classic, cool, and easy-going. Even the packaging—a flask wrapped in hand-woven rattan—exudes laid-back class.
I gave this one to my boyfriend but didn't find this particularly attractive on my man's skin. However, the scent seemed to fade quite quickly.2
In theory, this scent was wonderful. But for some reason, once it was on my skin, it smelled like the cheapest, grandparents' cologne. Perhaps this is just my body chemistry, though.2
Neither did my boyfriend. Reminded me of the scene in Anchorman, "It's rather pungent.. STINGS the nostrils." It was just a little too strong for both of us, but I may see if one of my gay husbands likes it :)2
The smell was too harsh and masculine for me. I personally would not wear this scent. although I did like the packaging for the box sample2
I'm just not into this scent. A little too manly for me. I may try to pass it off to my husband in his doop kit.2
This scent reminded me of being outdoors and of he warmer weather although I think it was a little too strong and a little to sweet for my personal taste2
I am a perfume lover. I have a large collection and am always looking for great additions. This has an interesting smell, not sure about it yet.2
Wasn't a favorite :(
This EDT had a VERY overpowering smell. My husband compared it to Lemon scented Lysol. It wasn't for us.
I love the smell of mens cologne, but this one wasn't my favorite. At first smell I kinda liked it, but then it almost started to smell like bug spray after the scent had settled into the skin.2
I gave it to my husband-he did not care for the scent.2
