If you’re rocking a fragrance inherited from your old man, or relying on a goopy deodorant stick for your olfactory game, it’s time to mix things up. Kick off your new scent strategy with this subtle, summery eau de toilette from Motor City designer John Varvatos. It’s the fragrance equivalent of your favorite jeans and a just-washed tee: classic, cool, and easy-going. Even the packaging—a flask wrapped in hand-woven rattan—exudes laid-back class.
This is a citrus scent. I get a lot of sweet orange. Not musky or leathery at all. Not cloying or overly sweet. I get many compliments on this scent. It last quite a while (not many colognes do these days). It's my new signature scent so don't copy me!5
If you're looking for a cologne for fall and winter weather, this is a great choice! It's a clean fragrance with a lot of hints of spices that remind you of this time of year.5
I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it! It smells great that I may even wear it sometimes!5
Not only is the packaging lovely but this unique refreshing scent is really nice. My son who doesn't like cologne wears it so I bought it for my husband. All the men in our family now wear it. I'm thinking of borrowing it!5
I absolutely love this cologne. I use it most of the time out of the 9+ colognes I own. I use it day or night because I like it that much.5
Got a sample in my Birchbox and liked it a lot. Got a full bottle as a gift and wear it almost everyday. The scent is light still has a woodsy quality to it.
My only gripe is that the fragrance wears quickly and there isn't really a trace of it by late afternoon.
A fragrance with a spicy oak aroma, it has become one of my favorites. It provides a long lasting scent that can be used for almost any occasion. It is not an over the top cologne but does get the job done on a night out.4
This is a good everyday type of cologne. It is not overbearing in smell and you will probably not win over anybody with it, but it very light and refreshing. I have bought John Varvatos colognes before and some have been a little too harsh in smell.3
The weakest fragrances I've used . After promising subtle first notes this cologne dissipates completely in ten to fifteen minutes. This product line is not on my purchase list for myself or gifting!2
This is one of my favorite colognes in my collection...a nice refreshing smell that isn't overpowering...especially great during spring/summer months but works well any time. A manly smell is a must and this cologne gets the job done.5
