If you’re rocking a fragrance inherited from your old man, or relying on a goopy deodorant stick for your olfactory game, it’s time to mix things up. Kick off your new scent strategy with this subtle, summery eau de toilette from Motor City designer John Varvatos. It’s the fragrance equivalent of your favorite jeans and a just-washed tee: classic, cool, and easy-going. Even the packaging—a flask wrapped in hand-woven rattan—exudes laid-back class.
this is men's cologne? well, none of the people at my work noticed when i wore it yesterday and today.... in fact, the only way i found out that it's men's cologne is by going to birchbox.com to try and purchase a larger bottle! so i guess i like it, even if it's not meant for me!4
I really like this product. I do not normally wear perfume but thought the smell was so nice and not overpowering. I am considering purchasing!4
I am always struggling to get my boyfriend to try new colognes. He took to this one immediately and I love it as well. Not only does it smell great but it also looks like the bottle will fit his style as well.4
I've purchased this before and really enjoyed it. Glad the sample was in my November box to remind me to get it again.4
I love it, the ladies love it I gotta get some more. Smokey smooth and kind of spicy. Changes during the day from quite shy in the morning to saucy and suave in the afternoon. Takes a nap then comes out to play in the evening. Ok it smells good and makes me feel clean.4
The scent is nice and has power behind it without being overwhelming.4
I love the smell of this cologne and can't wait to give it to my boyfriend to try. It's light but still woodsy and masculine which is really nice. A really great fragrance for the leading man in your life!4
I wore John Varvatos Artisan perfume to work today and as soon as I stepped in the office, I received a compliment from my co-worker. The scent is bold and sophisticated and is an attention grabber when you first walk in the room. This is a definite buy for me!4
This is a good everyday type of cologne. It is not overbearing in smell and you will probably not win over anybody with it, but it very light and refreshing. I have bought John Varvatos colognes before and some have been a little too harsh in smell.3
When choosing a scent, I tend to stay more with the barber shop classics (like grandpa), but John Varvatos Artisan is a nice change of pace.
I really enjoyed the citrus scents, especially when paired with other products from my January Box.
I have read some reviews saying the scent didn't linger, but in my case, I was surprised by its longevity.
This is defiantly more of a spring, summer scent due to its light, dry orange nature. I would recommend this for anyone looking for something a little different.
