The purpose of simple syrup—to sweeten a cold drink without waiting interminably for granulated sugar to dissolve —is straightforward. With this range of innovative, small-batch flavors, Royal Rose is anything but. Committed to the idea that quality ingredients make for quality cocktails, the brand uses 100-percent organic, fair trade cane sugar made from evaporated cane juice. This favorite companion of Brooklyn bartenders is a great way to liven up any libation.
I got this with my bonus points out of curiosity and tried it mixed with 7-Up one night and my boyfriend (who generally NEVER likes to try new things and usually REFUSES sodas and sugary beverages) asked me to make him one too after trying mine. In my opinion, if he likes it, it's got to be good!5
Not only will your cocktails become more magnifique but so will your teas, oatmeals, coffees, muffins, ect. Not only is Royal Rose a great company with wonderful core values and 100%, but they produce a great simple syrup. I add it to about everything. If you are unsure of which syrup to try I recommend Cardamom Clove. From there your will be hooked to try their other options.5
I absolutely LOVE the lavender lemon flavor. I have been putting it in my black tea with a bit of vanilla bean sugar and some milk---it's heavenly! I was so disappointed when I came back to buy a few more (a couple for myself and two for gifts) and that flavor was out! If it comes back in stock any time soon I will definitely be buying several. I've literally been using it every day and my bottle is about out! I am excited to try other flavors though. I wish they had the "Rose" flavor as well! Great product, unique flavors for simple syrups.5
My favorite flavors combined, oh man! Lemon-Lavender is very refreshing, interesting without getting weird or unrecognizable. I love all the uses as well, I used in my iced tea, but I'm tempted to pour over some vanilla ice cream.5
I love lavender, especially in the summer. I have used this syrup to add to cocktails, lemonade, and punches. Especially great for my watermelon, cucumber and lemon cocktail!5
I bought this on a whim to bring my order up to $50 for free shipping. I'm glad I did. The flavor is subtle but really... I don't know - comforting? Its just a sweet happy flavor that gently sweetens. I've used in in seltzer and in tea and honestly? Just a splash in some ice water. And the jar is super cute and deluxe looking. A wonderful addition to any kitchen or bar!5
I bought the Lavender/Lemon flavor. I have used it in iced tea and in ginger ale. I love the subtle flavor it adds. I have not yet used it in a cocktail. I can't wait to share this with my friends. I will recommend this to everyone. I plan to buy and sample the other flavors.5
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. We are experimenting with different shave ice flavors and combined this with fresh squared orange juice for a super yummy combination.5
So far I've used it in a cocktail and also just as a sweetener for almond milk. It's so lovely and easy to mix. The flavor is very clean, with a nice little kick of spice. It is definitely tastes of cardamon and clove! Neither flavor overpowers the other.5
i purchased the lemon/lavender simple syrup and it is great. awesome for cocktails or just to add a kick to seltzer. something i recommend everyone should try and experiment with.5
