Gentlemen of taste often prefer a traditional straight-razor shave. But when your schedule won't allow for cutthroat whisker removal, try this concentrated, creamy soap. Your choice from three distinctive formulas will have its perks: Refresh uses eucalyptus oil to tone and purify skin, plus menthol to deliver a tingly kick. Nourish uses karité butter and sandalwood oil to soften tough beards, producing a smoother, easier shave. Protect taps aloe and Vitamin E to soothe sensitive skin, leaving it soft and hydrated with a crisp, musky scent. Whichever you choose, it'll bring to mind classic barber shops with its no-fuss results and old-school packaging.
I do not recommend this one. I didn't like the sample, size, smell, texture and it didn't work as well as my normal shaving cream. I do not recommend it.1
This really smells awful and medicinal. Couldn't use.1
when looking for a nice shave I feel like having a smooth non irritating cream is the best thing. This was not it. It looked very smooth, but did not stick to the skin or hairs. This made my razor catch every hair making it more painful to shave. I would have done a better job just using barbasol, and thats saying something. For those of you with corse whiskers this is not the product for you. However i could see the effective ness on guys who do not grow many whiskers or very fine whiskers.1
I may just am use to the foamy type of shaving cream, but this did not appeal to me, I use it once and put the rest of it away somewhere for last resort purposes.1
I recently got this for my boyfriend and he wasn't thrilled with it. He has thick, corse facial hair and he didn't feel like it got frothy enough for him. He is super picky about his shaving cream and he wasn't really impressed with it.1
Where to begin with this wreck of a product? The smell is rather unpleasant and medicine-like. It irritated my face especially around the mouth, leaving my lips dried out and cracked. It increased the number of cuts from shaving tenfold and was no more effective than my cheap shaving cream. Why do men's shaving creams smell terrible and women get to have some that is wonderful smelling? I do not get wanting to smell like "1860's straight out of Hang 'Em High, wild west shaving cream" mixed with Bengay and pork rind dust. Skip on this.1
I get those red bumpy razor bumps a lot if not always, and this product did nothing for that. I use a shaving cream that helps with that issue, so this little tube guy was doomed from the start. I don't even think it smelled nice. Aren't all Birchbox items suppose to smell nice?1
Tried to use this product with an open mind. I have seen friends use and recommend. Product didn't work for me. Didn't stay on my face the way normal shaving cream does. Also not very thick1
I got the "Refresh" as a sample, and would probably not purchase again. It has a really weird doctor's office-type of smell to it and left my skin bumpy and irritated after shaving. It also has this slimy kind of texture that made my face feel greasy, even after I washed it off. Possibly the worst shaving cream I've ever tried.1
For shaving it is good, but I couldn't get over the smell. It kind of smells like old spice. If you like old spice, go for it.1
