Gentlemen of taste often prefer a straight-razor shave—but when there’s no time for the full cutthroat experience, try this concentrated, creamy shaving soap. Three distinctive Italian formulas ensure a truly personal touch, calling to mind barbershops of a bygone era.
And by that, i mean you will smell like a sweaty gym bag uou forgot in your trunk through the summer months. You finally remember, open it up, and bam! Black mold IN YOUR FACE! Yup, this smells like straight sweat and mold, and feels as though you are shaving through molasses. Best of luck with it2
First off, this stuff smells like chemicals and old men's underwear. Second, the consistency is thin and doesn't lather well. I couldn't throw the sample away fast enough.2
Did not lather as well as I expected. My wife did not like the smell.2
I did not like the smell. It worked protecting my face but it wasn't anything great. It left me smelling like soap for a while after.2
Maybe I didn't use enough, but my shave wasn't very smooth.2
my gel works just as good and smells much better. Will not be purchasing2
Not a fan of the smell. It smells good I guess, but "cheap" to me. As another user, Neal, stated: it "felt like it stuck to my face and neck all day," which I found to be true as well. Will stick to my niche shaving soaps and creams.2
It's okay - if this is targeted as a luxury product it falls short. Poor lather with a badger brush and worse than some of the other brands I've used. If it's going up against your nivea, gillette etc it's better but def not high end for me.2
I tried using this product on 2 separate occasions once when my facial hair was longer and once when it was freshly coming in. Both times it didn't work my razor would not go through the cream and hair. I tried taking some off but no difference.2
I am accustomed to using traditional shaving cream (Barbasol or Gillette). I didn't like how this product had a much thinner consistency. I also didn't think the shave was nearly as close as traditional shaving cream. The worst part was how hard it was to remove any of the excess product from my face or neck. I used it three or four times and each time felt like it stuck to my face and neck all day.2
