If you’re an old-fashioned gent, you like a quality shoe shine, crisp pocket squares, and a traditional straight-razor shave. But when a jam-packed schedule doesn’t allow for cutthroat whisker removal, we suggest this concentrated, creamy soap, which brings to mind classic barber shops (especially the Italian variety) with its tingly sensation and old-school packaging.
Proraso shave cream is about the easiest shave cream there is to lather. You practically touch it with your wet brush and it bursts into lather. The original green scent is menthol and it is strikingly so. The newer blue, "protective," scent is too artificially fragrant and can give you a headache.4
Awesome product that works well as an aftershave with a nice scent. The travel size is good to use for quick shaves.5
I used this shaving for the first time and it felt amazing. didn't leave my skin burning or didn't wash away when I was shaving.5
The sample I received was awesome with a menthol-ish smell and feel. This is more like your grandpa's shaving cream and does not have the same cooling sensation as the sample I received.
I have recently gone over to wet shaving and while trying to build up a lather with this, noticed it took longer to get it going as opposed to the other scent.
Over all, not bad for the price, you get a lot for your money, just not a fan of this particular option
Where to begin with this wreck of a product? The smell is rather unpleasant and medicine-like. It irritated my face especially around the mouth, leaving my lips dried out and cracked. It increased the number of cuts from shaving tenfold and was no more effective than my cheap shaving cream. Why do men's shaving creams smell terrible and women get to have some that is wonderful smelling? I do not get wanting to smell like "1860's straight out of Hang 'Em High, wild west shaving cream" mixed with Bengay and pork rind dust. Skip on this.1
Doesn't lather up well, but assists in a clean, smooth shave. Smell is okay, packaging is old school. Looks good and work great.4
Great shave and great feeling on your face afterwards. I use this everyday, and would definitely recommend it to anyone.2
Not only do I like this but my wife does too. Found it in the shower, she was using it to shave her legs! I bought 3 tubes, looks like I'll need more.5
Gives a great creamy shave that leaves your face soft. A little goes a long way when using a bowl and a brush. Makes using a safety razor a breeze!5
It lathers well, smells good, and doesn't clog up the blades. What more could you want from your shaving cream.5
