This concentrated, creamy soap—which brings to mind classic barber shops (especially the Italian variety)—takes your shave to the next level with its tingly sensation and old-school packaging. This shave cream comes in three distinct formulas, each with its own special perks. Refresh uses eucalyptus oil to tone and purify skin, plus menthol to deliver a tingly kick. Nourish uses karité butter and sandalwood oil to soften tough beards, producing a smoother, easier shave. Protect taps aloe and Vitamin E to soothe sensitive skin, leaving it soft and hydrated with a crisp, musky scent.
This product is nice, and makes for a comfortable shave even on a sensitive neck. I would recommend this to a friend.4
This left me with razor burn and irritated skin. Maybe it was just a bad day of shaving but I dont remember ever having this problem before. It did not give me the coverage or protection I would have expected.2
I have very sensitive skin, so I am reluctant to use new products. However, this stuff is great!
I smells fresh and keeps my skin soft and vibrant. Good product.
It had a nice feel to it..... Loved the design of the old school shaving packaging5
I thought this product was quite great for shaving. I got no irritation and it seemed to raise all of my hairs for a great clean shave and made my skin feel great!4
This is a classic shaving product. It works and smells good.4
I have been through the gamut of shave creams. The new this, the new that. Gels, butters, creams, lathers, Italian, French…you name it. My problem is my skin is so sensitive, I’ve only found a few things that I actually enjoy using. Let’s face it, shaving isn’t a blast and I think (at least for me) the products I use are the ones that are actually effective for my skin needs. ie won’t dry my face out after use, leave a residue on my face post shaving, make me oily etc. Let’s be real here, we could simply shave with water if it didn’t rip our faces off…but that’s the point of a good shaving product.
I’m no stranger to the Proaso line of products. I’ve also done my fair share of researching these “Shave Clubs†and landed on many a forum about shaving (these exist btw) and everyone likes name dropping Proaso. That’s a good thing. But, for me, I used the sample in its entirety and it didn’t seem like I could get it creamy enough. I’m a non-foaming gel guy these days, so a little goes a long way…but the sample didn’t last much more than 2 shaves for me. Once applied, there were still some razor pulls here and there as well as a little bit of a film left on my face. It’s smell wasn’t too fresh, which I’ve become accustomed to. Overall, I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it. Probably if I had a full size bottle I would grow to like it, it just didn't seem to be enough product to gets my shave on.
I loved the sample so much I purchased the full product. I've never had a shave smother at home. It felt just like a barbers straight razor shave. Very impressed!5
This cream felt good and was non-greasy. The scent was inoffensive. It was good.4
I loved this shaving cream. It lathers very well, smells great and doesn't leave your face dry and red. I will be buying more of this.5
