Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
Lucky Tiger gets the job done, but I won't be using it again.
I have a full, short beard, so I'm shaving my neck and the edges of my beard. I shave once a week, but even at that point, this is no more or less a smooth shave than other products.
But once done shaving, I get to the bad part of this cream - rinsing it off. You can't. Splashing your face with water just thins the liquid more and more. You'll need to wipe off with a towel, but you still may feel some residue. I've never used a liquid shaving cream before; I guess that's just part of the deal.
Thanks, but I'll pass.
This product is an amazing alternative to the standard shaving cream you can buy at any store. I love how easily it allows my razor to move across my face. Leaves my skin nice and soft. My face feels refreshed after using it. I would highly recommend it.5
I say shave cream, but this is actually more like an oil. A little goes a long way and lathers up a bit, then it settles back down to where you really can't see it hardly at all. Mega points because out of any shave product I have used in my entire life, this one feels the absolute best afterwards. You really don't need any after shave products using this so it is basically two products in one. Total guy smell, like freshly cut grass with slight scent, perfect!5
This is a very good shaving cream. It provides good protection against and lubrication for the razor and does not dry the skin. It's not as foamy as some products, but a thin layer of the liquid cream is all you need. I'm accustomed to using a brush and cream and still like that approach, but this has become my go-to travel or time-saving option. It's one of the best samples I have received in six months of Birchboxes and I'm ordering more.5
I am a sucker for anything with calendula in it. For my sensitive, dry skin type, this cream is perfect for providing a close shave without irritating my face.
This product does an okay job. I find that it takes more product than suggested to get a good lather. The scent is good but I will try something different next time.3
I received a generous sample size of this several months ago. As I just trim the back and front of my neck and have a full beard, I've barely even started on the bottle. A small amount does the trick, and not much would be required for a full shave for the un-bearded. Therefore, I think this is a great value for the job it does. It is soothing and doesn't have any kind of sting or cooling element, which I'm not a fan of. Overall, i'll probably buy a full sized bottle when I run out.5
Thanks to Birchbox, I sampled this a few months ago and was hooked. I have not had a closer, smoother, most nick-free shave than I have with this cream shave.5
This "liquid creme" is unique. It takes some work to get it lathered up, but it is a very smooth shave. Smells great, and I think it's very light on the skin because I felt no irritation whatsoever after my shave (and I have sensitive skin). Not a bad product at all, but not for me since I wet shave with a brush. The sample was a fantastic size though!4
I was religiously using another product for a while but shifted to using this after I got a sample of it. It smells great, leaves your face feeling great, and you don't have to use too much of it at a time. For those reasons, and for the price, I feel this is a great value and much better than most of the other products out there.5
