Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
I got three little samples in my last box and I have, so far, used two. The first one was great. I cut myself every time I shave (I don't do it often and I have sensitive skin) and with the Lucky Tiger sample I barely cut myself, it lathered really well and my face was nice and soft at the end.
The second one was less fantastic, but it was under less than ideal circumstances. I got out of the shower and then took a break to eat dinner (didn't want the delivery to get cold). When I got back to the bathroom my face was dry and even though I tried to get my face wet first the Lucky Tiger wouldn't really hold its lather. The save was still good but not as smooth as the first. I will certainly try my third sample and this will be in the running for a more permanent shave cream but it was not an instant winner.
I sampled this product and very soon after, bought the full sized version. I use it with a brush and it creates a great lather and the shave is really smooth and has reduced some of the razor burn that I normally get.5
I am really liking the Lucky Tiger cream shave. The 3 sample packets were enough to convince me that I need to buy the full-size and will definitely be purchasing that soon.5
This product smelled nice and lathered well in my hands. This product did not allow me to get a close shave though. Would purchase after sampling.2
His face is soft and smooth. He says there is no burning he tried a sample and was so excited to order the full size. Great packaging. A new favorite for the hubby5
I have an obnoxiously sensitive face when shaving, so I'm always on the lookout for something to make that process smoother (both literally and figuratively) and this did the trick.
Left my face feeling fresh, smooth and soft without too much lather or foaminess. Very nice product!
Liquid cream shave from Lucky Tiger, not what I was expecting. The fragrance is light and the coverage is great, it lays almost silent against the skina dn if you feel your face start dryoing out before you are done shaving, just wet your fingers and rub the dried out area, and you will get a new bit of that silky white lather.4
I think it would be a good buy if it wouldn't dry so fast.1
It worked fine, but I didn't see anything special about it. It didn't lather up as much as I thought it would.3
I've recently (re) discovered the art of wet shaving, and because of that, have been using a lot of shave soaps. When I got Lucky Tiger Liquid Cream Shave in my box, I was excited to give it a go with my safety razor.
First off, a little will go a long way. I ended up wasting a lot the first time. I used my brush and bowl to make a nice, thick, creamy lather that I was able apply evenly. (It's at this stage you'll notice the wonderful smell!)
Shaving was a breeze, and I have a very troublesome neck (thick, strange grain patterns, lots of irritation when not shaving correctly). When I was done, my beard was gone and I was irritation free. I would highly recommend this product.
(The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because I haven't used many similar products to compare it against.)
