Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
I've recently (re) discovered the art of wet shaving, and because of that, have been using a lot of shave soaps. When I got Lucky Tiger Liquid Cream Shave in my box, I was excited to give it a go with my safety razor.
First off, a little will go a long way. I ended up wasting a lot the first time. I used my brush and bowl to make a nice, thick, creamy lather that I was able apply evenly. (It's at this stage you'll notice the wonderful smell!)
Shaving was a breeze, and I have a very troublesome neck (thick, strange grain patterns, lots of irritation when not shaving correctly). When I was done, my beard was gone and I was irritation free. I would highly recommend this product.
(The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because I haven't used many similar products to compare it against.)
This product delivers as promised. I got tired of my beard so I shaved it off using Lucky Tiger. The product worked well. I have no complaints. But, I'm growing my beard back.4
Loved everything about the Lucky Tiger liquid cream shave. Never used a liquid shave in the past and I don't think I'll ever use anything else. Leaves you with a great smooth shave and no residue afterwards. And it smells great too.5
This product worked well into a lather but the scent wasn't very strong. It was smooth to shave with, I would just prefer a stronger scent.3
keeps the skin hydrated throughout the shave and kept skin smooth afterward. Used it in very dry climate and the added moisture is a plus!4
Easy to apply and softens the beard so shaving with a blade is easy. I did notice that the cream was more like a lotion and kept the beard from snagging while shaving making the process smoother than normal.5
Was very impressed, I'm usually more of an electric razor/ trimmer person myself, but figured I would give it a shot. Gave me a nice clean shave, and didn't leave any kind of a residue feeling afterwards.5
I traveled with a few of my friends for the first half of January. I packed a few samples of shaving cream that I haven't used from the past few boxes. I wound up trying it last because each sample was individually wrapped and I am glad I tried it last because I would never want to stop using it. I let one of my friends try a sample and he did not want to shave for the rest of the trip until he got the full bottle. It is the best product I have ever used for shaving.5
I've been using M&W Tabac shave soap for a good, long while. This stuff blows it out of the water. I used it with a brush and whipped it up in a shave bowl. The lather is less thick than the Anthony shave cream I sometimes use, but this gave a much smoother shave. The smell is great, too.5
I have never used liquid shaving cream before, but I liked this product. My face felt smooth after shaving and like I had recently applied lotion. It did help with razor burn but I still had slight irritation. I would recommend trying this product.4
