Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
This shave cream is kind of difficult to lather, and when it dries on your face it kind of gets stuck in the razor. But I must say that after the shave and wash, my face did feel nice and there was no subsequent breakout.3
Not too bad. Got a really big sample of it. My skin didn't burn afterward and don't need to use much4
I get severe razor burn with blade razors, but this product worked better than most gels/foams I have tried. However, it was not good enough to break me away from my electric razor, with which I get very little razor burn.3
I was pleasantly surprised to receive this product and enjoyed the packaging - I'm a sucker for kitschy stuff. It's a great size for a sample and I'll be able to get many uses out it. The cream smells great but unfortunately that's where the pros end and the cons set in. The lather is a bit on the goopy side and tends to clog up my blade quickly meaning I have to go over spots and shave again until I get a close shave. I'll be sticking to my Jack Black Supreme Cream.3
Great smell, goes on smooth, lathers well. One of the best shaving creams I've used. Will consider purchasing after my Art of Shaving cream runs out5
This gave me a great shave. Enjoyed the smell. The great packaging is just an added bonus.5
I surprisingly love this stuff. I'm very prone to razor burn and have had little to none of it for the last couple of weeks using this stuff. And because it doesn't lather up a ton, I can see better what I'm doing and I wreck the lines of my beard a lot less.5
This goes on very smoothly, has a nice foam to it, and the smell is nice and subtle. My husband is growing out his beard now, so, I used it on my legs, and it's pretty fantastic.5
I like the smell but it doesn't lather as well as my normal shave cream.3
I have heard of lucky tiger before but never tested anything in the brand before. The smell was pleasant and the liquid consistency was good, probably need to test a little more with a thicker beard to see if it can really penetrate. Don't shave all the way bare much but next time I do will give the lucky tiger a go.4
