Seeing as Lucky Tiger was founded by a barber, it should come as no surprise that the historic brand’s shaving cream is second to none. This “liquid cream”—a completely organic formula—goes from liquid lotion to rich lather on contact. The result is a cream that softens up even the toughest facial hair, providing supersmooth razor glide and preventing shaving irritation.
Not the best smell, comes on rather thing and doesn't seem to match up to the description of softening up tough facial hair. In fact, shaved a 3-4 day old beard and found it rather uncomfortable how close the contact was.2
AMAZING. I have sampled no fewer than 20 different shaving lotion/cream products over the past year from Kiehls, Every Man Jack, Origins, etc. and this is without the doubt the best. It is moisturizing without being too oily, pleasantly fragrant with a hint of orange blossom without being overpowering and easily cleans out of your razor. Its a must have for guys who demand better than Edge or Gillette.5
Hesitant to try this product, but it made for a decent lather, and a nice shave. I don't have much more than a light stubble usually, but my skin felt moisturized afterwards.5
I was surprised that a small amount provided such excellent coverage. I used a bowl and badger hair brush to work the sample up to a lather, it worked excellent for my stubble. I got a smooth shave, and have not liked going back to my regular shave lotion since using the lucky tiger.4
Wouldn't have been tempted by something that felt so "thin", but was truly pleased--enough that I purchased almost immediately. Wish the samples were purchasable for travel--I'd snap those up!5
I loved the shave...nice and smooth. Plus it's got a great scent. The sample packets were a little sloppy and tough to navigate since I shave in the shower (I shave my head as well as my face). So I'm hoping the regular sized bottle is a little easier to work with. I'd have already bought a bottle through Birchbox, but it's more than $7 cheaper elsewhere.4
I got three little samples in my last box and I have, so far, used two. The first one was great. I cut myself every time I shave (I don't do it often and I have sensitive skin) and with the Lucky Tiger sample I barely cut myself, it lathered really well and my face was nice and soft at the end.
The second one was less fantastic, but it was under less than ideal circumstances. I got out of the shower and then took a break to eat dinner (didn't want the delivery to get cold). When I got back to the bathroom my face was dry and even though I tried to get my face wet first the Lucky Tiger wouldn't really hold its lather. The save was still good but not as smooth as the first. I will certainly try my third sample and this will be in the running for a more permanent shave cream but it was not an instant winner.
I sampled this product and very soon after, bought the full sized version. I use it with a brush and it creates a great lather and the shave is really smooth and has reduced some of the razor burn that I normally get.5
I am really liking the Lucky Tiger cream shave. The 3 sample packets were enough to convince me that I need to buy the full-size and will definitely be purchasing that soon.5
This product smelled nice and lathered well in my hands. This product did not allow me to get a close shave though. Would purchase after sampling.2
