While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
nothing special here, reminds me a lot of Tommy cologne from the 90s. I might wear it on occassion but nothing i would ever reccomend buying.3
The scent was a little heavy on the patchouli for my taste, however not a bad fragrance all in all.3
i like all of the scents from this brand. i hate the sample packaging and this particular scent is just okay.3
I actually have received this sample before in a Mystery Sample Pack from Birchbox. When I first smelled it in the bottle I was mesmerized and thought for sure I would be purchasing it; with a spicy woodsy scent. However, then I put it on my skin and a strong floral scent came wafting up that was more suitable for my Grandma. I will not be purchasing this in the future.3
Its not a bad scent, its just not my scent. You gotta try it for yourself.3
Its patchouli so it's gonna be flowery I guess. But too flowery. There should be another note to counteract that intense patchouli scent. If you want to smell like a field of patchouli this is the scent for you.3
It's not my favorite smell and definitely not for everyone. It is a distinct smell that some may like and others may not. I recommend sampling before buying3
The scent has too many floral hints for my liking. Might be good for spring or summer...just not for me.3
This is not something I would use. Nobody liked it that I had smell it. It kind of smells like pine sap.3
I really enjoyed the aroma - was very similar to a few other products I use often. The price is just too much for this product.3
