Atelier Cologne Mistral Patchouli Cologne Absolue - 30ml

While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”

Musky

The scent wasnt real bad but it was a strong musky scent. It needed to be more subtle. Just a dab goes a long way with scent.

Not impressed

I was not really impressed, this is not my type of scent and I don't like the small samples when it's related to a fragrance because when you get the full size smells totally different.

Just ok

I am not a fan. I don't know much about this brand. This cologne does not smell that great to me. I won't purchase this sent. To be fair everyone likes something different when it comes to sents. This one is not for me.

Not my favorite
Sampled

Colognes are cool and I love getting them, but this one wasn't my favorite. It was okay, but I like watery scents a lot more.

Pleasant scent but a little strong for my taste.

I'd like to start by saying that I never use cologne. I generally find it to be over-powering no matter how subtle. The same goes for this sample. I did find the scent pleasant however and wouldn't hesitate purchasing it as a gift.

Definitely unisex--will depend on your tastes

With all perfumes, I think it really comes down to scent preferences. This smelled pretty good to me but I'm not a huge patchouli fan. It also seemed to fall a little more on the cologne side than the perfume--almost manly.

However, I'm glad to have the sample vial of this in my purse because its strong scent is great if I, say, spill coffee on me and want to cover the scent.

musky but sexy

This is a scent that is definitely more musky than I would normally wear. I've worn it out twice now and the muskiness definitely lends to a sexy, confidant feeling for a night out. I liked it and am sure I'll use my entire sample bottle.

not long lasting

the smell is a little strong but that is why i like this cologne. it is definitely unisex but i tend to like unisex/male scents better anyway. the only negative thing really about this was the scent didn't last very long. i would probably buy it if it wasn't so expensive

Okay

Don't love the scent, but it's not bad. I prefer lighter scents and I think this is too musky. I think it may actually work better for a male.

Better than Juicy Couture's LaLa

It is not my favorite scent in the world, but I liked this MUCH better than Juicy Couture's LaLa sample I got in my last box. I get headaches from scents VERY easily, and I haven't had a problem with this product.
