While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
This was a decent cologne, doubt I'll purchase because of the price however.3
Don't get me wrong it smells nice... But this cologne smells like it would fit well in an older crowd. Being in my mid twenties I just didn't really enjoy the scent too much for myself.3
The scent is okay but not great. Not a huge fan of this brand. Rather one dimensional.3
This is an interesting scent. It's not bad, but it doesn't suit me at all. I like patchouli, but this blend doesn't work at all for me. I'mm stick to Burberry Brit.3
The scent wasnt real bad but it was a strong musky scent. It needed to be more subtle. Just a dab goes a long way with scent.3
I was not really impressed, this is not my type of scent and I don't like the small samples when it's related to a fragrance because when you get the full size smells totally different.3
I am not a fan. I don't know much about this brand. This cologne does not smell that great to me. I won't purchase this sent. To be fair everyone likes something different when it comes to sents. This one is not for me.3
Colognes are cool and I love getting them, but this one wasn't my favorite. It was okay, but I like watery scents a lot more.3
I'd like to start by saying that I never use cologne. I generally find it to be over-powering no matter how subtle. The same goes for this sample. I did find the scent pleasant however and wouldn't hesitate purchasing it as a gift.3
With all perfumes, I think it really comes down to scent preferences. This smelled pretty good to me but I'm not a huge patchouli fan. It also seemed to fall a little more on the cologne side than the perfume--almost manly.
However, I'm glad to have the sample vial of this in my purse because its strong scent is great if I, say, spill coffee on me and want to cover the scent.
