While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
This seemed like an alright fragrance. The pepper seemed to come through pretty strong to me, so I'm not a big fan.3
Unfortunately I can't stand patchouli. Not sure why this was included in the box this month. Don't know anyone that wears it so that one went in the trash.1
As my title implies, this is not the typical patchouli scent. Light and almost fruity at times, this is not an overpowering scent.4
i really like this fragrance. i may buy it again. it is a little too expensive though. and does not have great staying power.4
I'm not a fan of the patchouli smell, and that was this. The pepper scent was strong, not the most professional smell for my work environment. I'd never buy this product.1
I liked to use this before going out at night. It's a nice subtle smell that doesn't over power what I'm already wearing. It's a perfect smell for spring/summer.3
Normally not a cologne guy, this stuff smells like fresh fruits and really has that summery smell I like. I feel this would accentuate any outfit for summer.4
I love this fragrance! It has a clean, yet manly smell. I constantly have women and men making comments on how great I smell.5
I find that I like most "modern" frangrances about the same. They're okay, but nothing will ever seem as manly as the cologne my grandfather wore.
This was okay, but not my girlfriend's favorite, and really, what else matters, guys?
The cologne smelt nice, however it didn't really work for me. As much as I wanted to like the cologne it just wasnt for me and ended up passing it along to a friend.2
