While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
Cologne was different than most of the ones I've had in the past.. Not a bad thing because I do like to change up my colognes seasonally!5
I hate patchouli. I love this scent!
This scent is amazing. You get the slight hint of patchouli, but not overpowering, which is the main reason I hate patchouli. You will find an earthy tone with a hint of licorice. It's a great general-purpose scent to be used all day and all night!
I was surprised at how well it held up throughout the day and it has a very nice clean scent. I was overall very pleased with it.5
The scent is complex and stimulating. Unlike products of lesser quality, it lingers-with just a restrained application-at the perfect level of presence: noticeable without dominating. For hours its presence on my wrist was like an available fragrant refuge from a battering world5
It has a hint of patchouli, which is normally not the scent it like, but I really loved this one!5
This entire line is fabulous, and layers well. I own many of their colognes.5
I really love the smell, it's subtle too so only the ones closest to you can benefit from its gentlemanly aroma.5
I like this scent. The citrus notes are very nice and aren't as harsh as most so the wife likes it.5
It smells nice. I do however, prefer the spray kind.5
wear. Just wish the sample bottle was a spay or dropper styled bottle is all.5
