While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
did not like the smell at all, and generally i am a fan of patchouli and atelier. disappointed but I'm sure it's for someone.2
My wife liked it more than me so I would probably buy it later on4
I have come to accept that I am just not a big fan of patchouli. Just not for me, but compared to others this one is far from offensive.2
I was worried this would be a very strong scent, but it's actually pretty nice. The patchouli is not overpowering and it leaves a pleasant smell.4
This has a nice scent to it. I will purchase in the future. Not too strong, but enough.4
Although meant to be used by ants, it does smell incredible. I enjoyed the lighter citrus like smell. I received plenty of compliments when worn, but due to its size was short lived.5
I thought when it said patchouli, I would smell hippie, but it turns out it smells more feminine than anything, with virtually no hint of patchouli. Not for me :(2
Even thought the sample bottle was tiny it lasted a long time ,,smells nice3
This is a nice clean scent for someone who wishes to smell nice but not over powering.5
There are few fragrances I dislike, so I'm always eager to try new ones out. This one comes on a bit strong, and the citrus seems to overpower the rest of the profile. I like it, but it probably won't cause me to change from my current go-to.4
