While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
Smells good, but only for 20 minutes. Birch box doesnt seem to carry high quality cologne.4
This fragrance was pleasant and could be worn every day. I do feel the price is more than I am willing to spend on cologne.4
I was surprised at how well it held up throughout the day and it has a very nice clean scent. I was overall very pleased with it.5
For some reason, this just wasn't compatible with my body chemistry, I'll admit, I didn't think it was wonderful in the bottle, but I know some colognes mix with your skin to smell different. It just didn't work for me.3
i usually stick to my signature scent, but it's nice to try new fragrances like this. Gotta say this was a pleasant surprise. Nice patchouli notes in there.4
the scent was strong and lasted for the most part of the day, unfortunately this scent just isn't for me. Choosing a scent is very personal but the cologne fits the description perfectly if you like fresh fruity and floral scents this is for you, but its not a scent I would wear3
Not a bad scent, just not for me. It was a little too bright of a scent than what I go for. I was pleased with how long it lasts so you don't need to reapply throughout the day.3
The scent is complex and stimulating. Unlike products of lesser quality, it lingers-with just a restrained application-at the perfect level of presence: noticeable without dominating. For hours its presence on my wrist was like an available fragrant refuge from a battering world5
I liked the fragrance. Patchouli is one of my favorites especially when combined with other essential fragrance oils like amber. Atelier is known for great fragrance art and I have purchased the brand in the past and have always been satisfied.4
I did not like this sample. It was to musky for my liking. I did get some citrus notes that were interesting, but I know that this scent is not for me. My wife also found it off putting so it would naturally have to go!2
