While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
Definantly seasonal smell kinda like pine and grapefruit. So it seems to me like it is a Spring/ Fall smell.4
I must say I wasn't horrified by the scent, my girlfriend on the other hand absolutely was! It's different then what I normally wear, but I liked the change. A strong scent that sticks around. Probably just a little musky for her4
Simple as tht. I do not enjoy the scent of patchouli...in any form. however I did let my mother who likes patchouli smell it and she loved it! just not for me.1
This cologne has a great smell for spring/summer. It has a fresh and fruity scent. There are some woodsy/peppery hints which are good. It lasts a good part of the day and is not over powering.4
did not like the smell at all, and generally i am a fan of patchouli and atelier. disappointed but I'm sure it's for someone.2
My wife liked it more than me so I would probably buy it later on4
I have come to accept that I am just not a big fan of patchouli. Just not for me, but compared to others this one is far from offensive.2
I was worried this would be a very strong scent, but it's actually pretty nice. The patchouli is not overpowering and it leaves a pleasant smell.4
This has a nice scent to it. I will purchase in the future. Not too strong, but enough.4
Although meant to be used by ants, it does smell incredible. I enjoyed the lighter citrus like smell. I received plenty of compliments when worn, but due to its size was short lived.5
