While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
patchulli has no place in a high end brand, smells like a hippy1
Patchouli is just not allowed in our house. The smell of it makes me feel sick. So it's not this products fault - but still....I just think no cologne that wants to be seen as high end should have patchouli in it.1
Any this with this smell reminds me of unemployment and is a terrible smell. Please. No more cologne especially with this scent .1
The smell was too strong for me. I felt a bit like a flower child when it spilled on me.1
Its an interesting smell but its a bit to strong for me1
I did not like this product and the smell was not for me or my wife1
Since I am not an unwashed hippy, I am not a fan of the smell of patchouli oil. Accordingly, I did enjoy this product. To me, it was not a clean scent.1
My boyfriend and I both hated the smell of the fragrance. YUCK!1
While I appreciate getting to check out new scents- this one just isn't for me.1
I Mister got a headache immediately upon smelling this scent. I dig the black pepper part of the scent but the patchouli just killed it for both of us. Not something either of us are into or would ever wear. It's gonna go into the trade box.1
