While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
I enjoy trying new products however this one was not for me. The scent was not flattering to me and isn't something i would wear. However, the product itself was good quality and a generous sample amount.
i've always loved that musk, earthy scent. i totally understand why it's marked unisex because it has that bold, manly scent to it, which i actually like. it may not be for everyone, but this product was right up my alley.
This scent was nice. Very woodly. It reminds me of man though. The scent is long lasting.
Loved the smell, but my husband didn't. Also, it is quite expensive for a perfume, but overall I thought it smelt great.
Don't be scared by the patchouli. This is a great summer fragrance. I don't think I would wear it to work (a bit too strong, and maybe not appropriate in a professional setting) but it's great for the weekend.
My husband and I both liked the smell of this product...we like it better for women, though. It is definitely a sexy scent. At first a little musky but then some floral notes come out. It lasts all day!
This fragrance first struck me as very strong and would say almost woodsy. After being left a little it smells a bit lighter and fresher.
I like the scent, but it was a little strong for everyday wear. Especially in the summer.
When I first smelled the perfume, I was unsure... it smelled a little grandpa-y, but when I put it on, it transformed into something I liked much better. It's very low-key, and I like it.
I love having new perfume and this was a nice change of pace. I'm not sure if i would buy a bottle of it but i would certainly use a few sample vials every summer.
