While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
This is disgusting...it smells too manly and it is just too strong for me.1
Really not my type of scent..not sure what else to say. Also very pricey.1
This was a lame sample for multiple reasons.
1. I didn't like the smell
2. even if i did like it, I would never buy it for $125
3. ultimately it was a waste of a birchbox sample for my #2.
I really enjoyed my first box but since then then they have gone down hill
Unfortunately this product was not for me. I just didn't care of the fragrance.1
I am a more citrus girl and not a fan of this scent at all.1
I received the Atelier rose scent in a previous box and hated it. I thought maybe I might like this one but I was wrong. This line is just way to strong and over powering for me. I can smell it even before I open the little sample tube.1
I was not satisfied with this product. I do not like the smell at all.1
Didn't like the smell of this one, great size and packaging though!1
I am not a fan of this at all! I never liked the earthy smell of patchouli in the first place. I couldn't even bring myself to put it on or even take it out of the packaging because it was so overwhelming.1
I really did not like the scent of this product. The smell was really overpowering. It had a smell like the perfume my grandma uses, which may have been why I personally didn't care for it. It does last long. I put a few drops on my wrist and was stuck with it all day.1
