While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
Smells like licorice, which i enjoy the taste of, just not the smell, especially at that price point, thanks for the sample but this is a pass for me.2
this fragrance is a little too strong for my tastes. i like things that are more subtle.2
Really didn't care for the smell either did my wife way to fruity2
That's really all there is to it...if you like patchouli this would probably be good for you. However I kind of associate patchouli oil type fragrances to hippies that try to mask over not showering. Not my thing.2
My Boyfriend really liked this product the size was nice.2
For me, it's definitely a cold weather scent. It's quite pungent, so a little goes a long way. I will definitely give my new sample a few tries to see what feedback I receive. As for the price of the full sized bottle...Im scared.2
I am not a fan of this product, it is too fruity and feminine. Although I care about my hygiene, I don't want to look or smell like a fruitcake... In other words, my fragrence shouldn't be fruiter than my girlfriends.2
I didn't like it nor did my wife. Scent was somewhat wear as well2
I would describe the aroma of this cologne to be masculine and citrusy. It is a little more lighter than some of the deep musky colognes that you would find in many of the mens clothing stores in the mall. While I do not think I would use this for my everyday cologne, using it for special occasions where the event was more lively and upbeat, seems to fit the aroma of this product.2
Had a tad of the typical "bug-spray" type scent to it and was a little overpowering for everyday wear.2
