While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
Another cologne sample. My girlfriend didn't like the scent and neither did I really. It's going in the trash.3
Smells like medicine! Just very artificial and weird smell. I hated it2
This fragrance has a soft, flowery scent. It is very understated. In my opinion, the scent is not very masculine, but some may find it sophisticated. I prefer stronger, sportier scents.3
Mix of ocean and grapefruit make this one of my favorites - not too sweet like some can be5
This cologne smells great. It doesn't have the overpowering scent of patchouli, just enough to do the trick.4
I'm not a big fan of Patchouli scents. It reminds me of hippy girls that are trying to cover up the smell of something else. ;)3
Smell is very subjective and to me this isn't my favorite cologne but it may be someone else's favorite so its hard to write a review for.3
I do love Atelier Cologne but I did not like this sent at all. The Patchouli Cologne was not a good smell for me.5
This fragrance might work for some, but it doesn't work for me. I'm glad I got it as a sample rather than spending $125 on the full size. I typically go for the citrusy/summer scents, and this does not fit into that category for me.3
If you want people to sniff the air and look around wondering where that smell is coming from then this is your cologne. But don't be surprised when the look on their face shows nothing but disgust.2
