While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
This scent made me feel unbelievably sexy. Perfect scent for summer, I felt like I should've been by the ocean at sunset. More of a masculine scent but still nice.3
i've always loved that musk, earthy scent. i totally understand why it's marked unisex because it has that bold, manly scent to it, which i actually like. it may not be for everyone, but this product was right up my alley.4
I did not enjoy this product. The smell was very masculine. I also would not pay this much for a fragrance.3
The scent was rather strong for me. I gave it to my fiance.2
I am extremely picky when it comes to fragrances and this is just too much for me. I am more of a floral fragrance lover and this is definitely not something I would wear.1
If you're a lady who likes smelling like a man and/or having that smell around you - this product is for you. It's too heavy and musky for me. Not a big fan. I might give it to my boyfriend, but he would probably be offended at getting a woman's cologne...and I don't know if I want to smell it...1
This cologne smells so strong and masculine. I don't think I would ever wear something like this.1
This scent was nice. Very woodly. It reminds me of man though. The scent is long lasting.4
This scent, as far as patchouli scents go, is actually not bad. I typically don't go for patchouli scents, though, since they give me a headache. If forced to wear a patchouli scent to cover up massive BO, like so many at our dear Bonnaroo, I would totally take up this scent. But I haven't gotten there, yet.3
This product seemed more fit as a man's cologne than a woman's perfume. If you like floral scents like I do, this product isn't for you.2
