While the word patchouli might call to mind images of the hippie generation, this sophisticated fragrance couldn’t be further from that. Designed by Atelier Cologne’s fragrance expert Jérome Epinette, Mistral Patchouli uses grapefruit and black pepper notes to enhance a base of Indonesian patchouli. Equal parts zesty and earthy, the enticing result is more “leading man” than “flower child.”
The scent of this product was too earthy for me and was also very strong; it gave me a headache.1
I really liked this fragrance as a change of pace from my normal flowery preference. It is much more rich and earthy, which is great for a fancy dinner date.4
I felt like this was more for men than women. It had a stronger smell1
I did not like the smell at all, i thought it was way too musky and strong1
This smells great and the scent lasts all day. I also love the little postcard that came with it!5
Patchouli is not my scent at all I guess, because I can't stand the scent of this. It is very powerful though so I'm guessing if you do like the scent, you'll be happy with its staying power and intensity..1
A very warm scent. Too warm and heavy especially for my tastes in the summer. I definitely think it could pass as a unisex scent, but I just don't like it on me so much.2
I didn't really feel this was a good scent for me. It was kind of heavy.1
The scent was not my favorite but it is one of those smells where you smell it the first time and you have to keep smelling it before your nose likes it. Its not my favorite and i was confused it was in my box but its good. I like the musky smell i feel like i could give it to my boyfriend and he would like it.2
I suffer from migraines. Strong scents tend to trigger then so i stay away from most.Patchouli is one of the worst for me. So i cnat really be fair on my opinion. However, if i was able to wear it...The pricing for this is outrages! I would not spend that kind of money on any perfume.1
