A distinct take on Cartier’s Déclaration scent, Déclaration Essence builds upon the bestselling original. It features the same warm woody base but adds layers of fresh spices for an enticing finish. It’s sophisticated and sensual at the same time, making it a worthy addition to Cartier’s fragrance line—and ours.
My wife wants to wear it. Not sure what that means. Not for me though. Not sure if I want to smell it on her either.3
I thought the Cartier fragrance smells nice but a little too woodsy for me.3
I'm not big on colognes, I haven't worn any since middle school probably, but this has a good scent to it. not too strong and lasts a while. may make me re-think my no cologne way of living.3
The scent was pretty funky, not really for me and was too close to womens perfume3
I wasn't completely opposed to this cologne, but it just didn't work well for me. Definitely not an awful smell by any means, but I would just prefer something that had a different smell.3
Not sure why, but I felt like I picked up a hint of baby oil smell in this fragrance..3
I am not huge on fragrance so this was meh to me, way to costly3
Got this sample in my first birch box, and was happy I did. Have gotten multiple complements on this scent, and may consider picking up a full size in the future.3
I like this frag its very light and fresh, perfect for work. on the other hand its way to overpriced to justify its overall blah profile.
If im going to spend over $100 on cologne id prefer Creed or Tom Ford
This fragrance is one that I wanted to love but I found the mix of citrus and spice to be confusing rather than alluring. The citrus not was just a touch too sugary to blend in with the rich spices.
The scent did last for the entire day, however.
