A distinct take on Cartier’s Déclaration scent, Déclaration Essence builds upon the bestselling original. It features the same warm woody base but adds layers of fresh spices for an enticing finish. It’s sophisticated and sensual at the same time, making it a worthy addition to Cartier’s fragrance line—and ours.
I might have bought if not for another cologne in a recent Birchbox sampler that I liked and already bought.4
The smell of this cologne is great. Woodsy and floral - a great combination for the Fall season. Unfortunately, at over $100, this cologne overshoots my price point for cologne. Definitely try it out if you get the chance.4
I find myself constantly smelling my wrists at work and my girl loves it. the price is a little high and I am typically a "one scent" kind of guy, however, as soon as that bottle runs dry I am certain this will be my next purchase.5
It smells like cinnamon, its not bad but definitely not great either.4
Though it's a little pricey this is a great fragrance. I like the staying power a lot.5
My wife wants to wear it. Not sure what that means. Not for me though. Not sure if I want to smell it on her either.3
I used the cologne in the evening as I liked the mature and slightly heavier scent. However I didn't find that the scent lasted more than a few hours.4
Its a great cologne to use after the summer and its refreshing to use once in a while.4
My judgment on scents is interesting. "1. Is it good on my skin. Does it blend in with my own "scent". Is it subtle? Over powering? nice? 2. Am I allergic."
On the 1 scale, I like it. Its can be VERY easily overused, but overall its a nice scent if used VERY sparingly.
And I am not allergic. This is a massive bonus.
I thought the Cartier fragrance smells nice but a little too woodsy for me.3
