Holding up your pants with your thumbs just doesn’t cut it once you’ve graduated from straw hats and cleaning your teeth with a piece of wheat. And frankly, neither does that single plain brown leather belt you’ve owned since fifth grade. As with neckties, your belt game demands both quality and variety. This simple, two-tone textured solution is the perfect place to start when you’re ready to get serious about building out your closet’s belt lineup.
Initially I loved the look of this belt. Once I actually used it I was not nearly as impressed. The one size fits all really means that it is incredibly long. I am a 30 inch waist and the belt wraps around me 1 and a half times. It is really too long to wear unless you have a lot of extra belt loops on the pants you are wearing or want it to hang down, but it does not hang down nicely. Also, the weaving does not hold up very well where it connects through the buckle. It does have a nice look, but overall not a great product. I wouldn't recommend it.1
Not for a 29 inch waist. I could nearly wrap the belt 1.5x's around my waist. Also, I wasn't impressed with the cheap rubber and plastic buckle pieces.1
Sharp on the outside. But it's just not practical. Dubbed as one-size fits all, this belt is way too long. I'm a smaller guy, but still. I can't imagine this thing properly fitting a regular guy.
The blue color is nice, but the "vegan leather" pieces look cheap and the buckle looks like plastic. As other reviewers have noted, this "one-size-fits-all" belt is long - at least a foot longer than my 34-inch waist. What the heck am I supposed to do with the extra? If you're going to push a product like this, how about at least some styling suggestions?1
First of all I'm surprised at how long it is. Very nice to see that it wasn't made only for small people.
The quality seems to be very nice and the hardware looks durable and not chintzy. Just wish it was black rather than blue.
This "one size fits all" belt is definitely not that. It is over 50 inches long and wraps around my waist 1.5 times, which is too bad, because it IS a really cool looking belt.1
Not interested in a belt. I am disappointed in this months box.1
Didn't think braided belts came back in fashion. I prefer thicker belts.. too small for me1
Always weary of "one size fits all" products. I'm a small guy with a 31" waist, and this belt wraps around me one and a half times. It's way too long to be practical for most guys.
In fact, I took a tape measure to this thing to make sure I wasn't just being crazy. It's a bit over FIFTY inches long (!).
I'm disappointed that I received this in my box when I could've had a product that I would've/could've used or something that actually fit. I double-checked my profile, and my preferred size is set to SMALL. This belt is pretty much extra-large. It was a nice gesture to send a belt that retails for $40, but if I can't use it, it's just taking up space for something I could've enjoyed.
The actual belt is nice, soft, woven, and with good details. It is a bit thin, so if you like wide belts, skip this one. It's basically a really (REALLY) long, thin piece that few guys will find practical to wear.
If it was the right size I'd probably review it higher, but this is not entirely birch boxes loss, as sizing issues alone aren't enough to downrank this, there are other flaws.
Tight weave is pretty decent, but the detailing is strange, and there's visible plastic wrap that is not easily removable as well.
