Holding up your pants with your thumbs just doesn’t cut it once you’ve graduated from straw hats and cleaning your teeth with a piece of wheat. And frankly, neither does that single plain brown leather belt you’ve owned since fifth grade. As with neckties, your belt game demands both quality and variety. This simple, two-tone textured solution is the perfect place to start when you’re ready to get serious about building out your closet’s belt lineup.
1. Definitely too thin - I understand ultra-wide is no good, but this is like wearing a rope belt.
2. What is this, one size fits all? If so, bad form. I'm pretty sure I got a belt for someone with a 44" waist. Am I supposed to cut the end off? Seems that would kill the effect of the leather trim. And by seems, I mean yes, it would kill the effect.
Getting this belt in my Birchbox was great for me because I had been looking for a cotton belt for the summer. The great thing about this one is that is slimmer than other cotton belts I had seen, and plenty long. I am a bigger guy and the fit was great. I'd definitely suggest checking out the article on how to style long belts in The Guide. There were some great tips and cool ways to wear longer belts.3
The belt is nice. The only thing I didnt like is that it is super long and really thin. I prefer a thicker belt. Beyond that it is great. I havent worn it long enough to see how durable it is but seems ok so far.4
It is pretty weird that this belt is mega long, but honestly I still find it pretty wearable with shorts. It's comfy and looks really casual yet upscale, so I'm a fan.4
The belt is nicely woven with a unique pattern. The navy blue looks great paired with the green leather end piece and loop strap. The black buckle I felt was a bit off on color scheme, but the major flaw is making the belt in ONE SIZE FITS ALL. I can almost wrap it around twice! (<--size 32 fyi birchbox)2
It works - would only wear casually, of course. It's long, but apparently the "in thing" is to tie the extra in some way (some fashionable way, which i have yet to google). Good belt though for casual wear and will do fine in the summer months.3
Nice casual belt for summer. It's a bit too long though and that get's in the way.4
I really didn't feel like this was a very good looking belt when worn. Too thin and doesn't fit with anything I would normally wear. However, it is made very well.3
I heard some people complaining about the size of this belt, but I thought it was just fine. I wear some pants with a 34" waist, and some with a 36". There's a lot of leftover belt, even when I wear it with loose jeans, but it doesn't look bad. I love the blue color too. My only complaint is that I would prefer a slightly wider belt. I will probably check out what else this brand has to offer.4
Not normally my style, but I actually really like this. I like that it is vegan too; that's pretty cool. Overall, a cute belt, can't go wrong with that!3
