Good things come in threes, like this preshave trifecta of macadamia nut oil, glycerin, and soybean oil. Free of parabens, fragrances, and petrochemicals, it lifts whiskers to give you a close shave while moisturizing and shielding skin so you end up with a smooth, nick-free mug. We're not the only ones who think its great: Men's Health named the lather Best Shave Cream in 2008.
I didn't find this product to be all that incredible. It did the job but nothing more. I prefer a shaving product that has a bit of a slip to it which I found that this cream is lacking.3
This product is way too expensive. The shaving cream is effective but it is no more effective than my cheap shaving cream at home. The texture and everything was fine. It just didn't really produce a lather that I like to have.3
Overall, I think this product is just OK. It's not particularly amazing. Love the smell, though.3
Ok, so it's not that this stuff isn't real. I just prefer to use a badger brush to get my lather and this stuff just didn't seem to lather very well in a brush. Maybe it's fine using it by itself but the sample was so small I didn't have a chance to find out. Regardless a brush is the way to go anyway.3
The sample size was so small that I only had one chance to use it. I cannot tell if this cream is better than the one I already use. It was very nice but I can't make a comparison with one try.3
I was not impressed with this product. I will not be purchasing.3
I liked the lather on this and it made my face feel smooth. Better when used with a preshave oil.3
The product is not bad - but I like the texture and effectiveness of many other brands more - so this is not my first or second pick by any means.3
Everything about this was decent, the feeling and effectiveness. I don't shave too often and have other favourites but this could work into the rotation.3
I like Jack Black products and use the bar soap quite a bit. Jack Black is a premium brand and generally the added price is worth it. This particle sample was cheaply made in a poor carboard rip pack. I use a shaving brush and it was about enough for one use...I assume it is made for one use. I would expect more from a premium brand especially one that is trying to compete with other high end shaving products. Appreciate the sample, but not enough here to get me to switch.3
