When chapped lips test your patience, this lip balm helps you keep your cool. It absorbs faster than waxy alternatives and features SPF 25 protection to guard against UV rays. And with no shiny residue, you won't look like you borrowed your girlfriend’s gloss in in a fit of desperation.
For a nearly $8 lip balm, I was expecting some more wow from this. I'm thrilled that it has SPF in it, and it is well packaged, but it is quite small, not much bigger than a squeeze tube of carmex. It's even a little less moisturizing than carmex. There's also little wax shards that feel like exfoliating beads, for like... what reason?? I just wish the tube was a bit bigger, and the application smoother and more moisturizing, rather than waxing and just sitting on your lips. My lips were still dry after, and the balm just kind of sits there.3
Packaging is not all that good, takes a heavy squeeze to get it out, nothing super special a little spendy for what you get3
This is the first SPF lip balm I've used that did not irritate my lips, so for that I am pleased. It's a good matte lip balm that doesn't interfere too much if you want to layer color on top. But it also feels slightly sticky. I'll use it up but not sure if I will repurchase.3
I got this as a stocking stuffer for my boyfriend this past Christmas. He likes the product, especially that it does not make his lips shiny. However, he doesn't feel it's quite as moisturizing as chapstick brand.3
Good lip balm in terms of protecting your lips when they get too dry, however, I have a couple complaints. First, it's hard to forget you have it on, because it goes on so heavy. Second, it doesn't work that much better than regular lip balm for the price.3
This is a close second behind the Tiger products. It is just a tad oily but that goes away after a short while.4
This is s good product for men and we on to wear in the summer. It smells ok too. Can't wait to use it at the beach.4
I've been having a serious problem with chapped lips and received this in a Sephora gift with purchase bag. I've been using this every single night before bed and it definitely helps with the dry patches and redness I get around my lips when they're chapped. The scent is nice and not overly minty. Most importantly, the mint doesn't sting my dried lips. This is a really good, thicker textured balm, particularly for the winter. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a super heavy duty lip balm that's more or less no frills. Also very affordable comparable to other more expensive balms and does the same job, if not better.4
I swiped this from my boyfriend because I ran out of my usual lip balm. It has sunscreen in it! (I love that he's using sunscreen) that alone is worth the price of admission. It's very moisturizing and a bit soothing, but it has a very strong mint--almost menthol--taste & tingle to it. I took off one star for that, otherwise it's good stuff and I know this because my boyfriend's lips are incredibly soft. If you don't like the mint taste, try another flavor.4
Not super shiny like a lot of lip balms, I'd definitely recommend it to guys. I bought it for my boyfriend, but I like to use it under my lipstick because it's hydrating but matte.4
