Despite all of her goodness, Mother Nature can wreak havoc on your lips. Swap out that drugstore stick for this moisturizing therapy, which sinks in faster than waxy alternatives and has SPF protection to guard against UV rays. Plus, it won’t leave a shiny residue, so no one will think you borrowed your girlfriend’s glossy version.
This is the first SPF lip balm I've used that did not irritate my lips, so for that I am pleased. It's a good matte lip balm that doesn't interfere too much if you want to layer color on top. But it also feels slightly sticky. I'll use it up but not sure if I will repurchase.3
I got this as a stocking stuffer for my boyfriend this past Christmas. He likes the product, especially that it does not make his lips shiny. However, he doesn't feel it's quite as moisturizing as chapstick brand.3
Good lip balm in terms of protecting your lips when they get too dry, however, I have a couple complaints. First, it's hard to forget you have it on, because it goes on so heavy. Second, it doesn't work that much better than regular lip balm for the price.3
This is the highest SPF lip balm I've seen and at a very reasonable price. I'm using the Shea Butter formula and it certainly does the job. I'm docking 1 star from my rating because I really don't like doe foot applicators and I much prefer solid lip products. This formula is thick and occlusive and does a decent job as a lip balm, but honestly since using pure lanolin on my lips nothing even compares. I will be using this until I find a lanolin based product that has SPF in it (lol)!4
This is the perfect lip balm that goes on clear and doesn't leave shine. The mint is refreshing and it's very moisturizing4
This lip balm works very well and a little goes a long way. When you squeeze the tube, but product is thick, but quickly thins out when it is applied to your lips. The mint flavor is very refreshing and the added SPF is nice.4
The mint and shea butter version is the best of the line. I would give it 5 stars if it were a little more matting like Lucky Tiger. Other than that, it's SPF is fairly good and the scent/taste is excellent.4
I was a Kiehls lip balm snob for years. Then my husband ordered some of this and I borrowed it. And by borrowed, I mean that I put it in my bag and he hasn't seen it since. Works great in the midwest bitter cold, and the drying desert heat. Lasts a long time, and most of the flavors are tasty without being overpowering. Does not give a shimmery sheen once applied. Just nice matte coverage.4
I am slightly obsessed with lip balms and very picky when it comes to re-purchasing. I definitely liked this one but I didn't notice the ingredients until it arrived; it has parabens and petroleum :(
I will likely keep it because it does work well for very chapped lips, the applicator is great and it doesn't require continual re-application, however I don't think I will re-purchase (because of the ingredients).
This is perfectly good lip balm, and a step up from what you can buy at the checkout line. It has a nice smell, is easy to apply, and keeps lips moisturized.4
