It's a dilemma as old as underwear: Boxers bunch up, but briefs are too snug. This hybrid is made from 95% cotton with a hint of elastane (5%) for a tailored, flexible fit that’s never constricting. Free of scratchy labels, this design makes a welcome departure from branded waistbands.
On my first wear, I am having a bit of trouble with the riding up issue that others have mentioned, but the biggest problem isn't coming up very often and must be addressed. There is no flap. We're guys. We need a flapo in our underwear. Sometimes you're in a hurry and you don't need to be in a hurry in an office or public restroom and realize you basically need to pull your pants down to use a urinal. Horrible functionality on a very basic item. I may use them for working out, but the are basically useless.1
I typically wear boxer briefs of various brands, and these are the worst pair I have yet to try. They do not stay in place, they ride and bunch up constantly, and do not have an opening for when you have to relieve yourself. Thinking maybe a couple wears would help, or that I was wearing jeans the first time, the second time I tried to wear them, I actually went home during my lunch break to change because they were so uncomfortable with the slacks I was wearing.1
I like boxer briefs but never ever wear white. White is outdated, color is in. They fit well and were comfortable. I do not know if the legs stay in place as I did not wear them for an extended period.1
So, I am a professional boxer-brief wearer. I have a few pairs that I have received from birchbox but basically every pair of underwear I own are boxer-briefs. So, I was happy to get a new pair from a brand that is new to me. But the end result is that these are basically useless for me. Maybe I have "thunder thighs" as my wife keeps telling me (is that TMI?) but these roll up and cause extra friction in that region where friction is truly the last thing a gentleman would like. I generally like longer inseams, but I have some short ones like this that work fine. But these, these don't work.1
This rode up in the wrong places at the wrong times. The briefs just didn't fit correctly: they were the correct size but the cut doesn't take into consideration an actual body. The material is problematic as well. One should not notice one's underwear while walking around; these briefs seemed to demand my attention every moment (too warm in odd places; riding up; ...I took 'em off at the end of the day, laundered them, and sent them off to charity.1
I really like a fabric made by Calvin Klein, it is just really soft and this was just basic cotton1
I like a good boxer brief but these were too short in the legs. It was more like just wearing briefs. I didn't think they fit well and maybe it was just the wrong size but they were fine around the waist, it was just the thigh that was too short and bunched up by your junk.1
These are definitely soft! My boyfriend normally wears the regular boxers, and said he wasn’t used to being a little more “constricted†lol, but he thought they were comfortable at first and soft as well. He did end up taking them off because then he felt they weren’t so comfortable after a while. He usually wears boxers and is not used to having that sort of constriction lol. Though I would think it would be fun to receive a different color other then the white, but I can’t complain really because they’re $18 underwear in a subscription box worth $20/month as I said up above.1
uncomfortable to wear...needs a pouch for the junk...and the ribbing is of very poor quality1
These weren't for me, tight in some areas, loose in others, a lot of movement, tugging and adjusting.1
