Most deodorant formulas that succeed in covering up body odor come with an even stronger and more pungent odor of their own. But this award-winning deodorant stick from (MALIN+GOETZ) keeps its natural scent understated and refined, using eucalyptus extract and citronellyl to zap odors and moisturize skin. Magazines like Wallpaper and Esquire are big fans of this unisex deodorant, and so are we.
The deodorant smells very strong when you open it but if you apply it, it is not as strong. It does not work as great as regular antiperspirant, but I'm willing to see how well it holds up as I continue to use it. I do like that there are not typical ingredients in this.3
This deodorant smells AMAZING, but unfortunately it does not protect against body odor at all. Highly ineffective. I definitely won't buy it again.2
I know each body is different and this will work for some while leaving others wondering what all the fuss is about. Thankfully, I am in the "IT WORKS!!" category. The scent is so light, with vague citrus notes, not at all medicinal like you may think of when you think of eucalyptus. I will say it took a couple weeks for my body to adjust to the perspiration output, but I seem to be in balance now, after about a month. Also, it does help if you get an opportunity to reapply about halfway through the day.5
Smells great, gentle and love that it's natural but it wears off a few hours into the day even if not being very active. Have tried SO many natural ones that are much worse. This is good but not good enough to stop any odors for 24 hours as advertised.4
So I sweat, and it smells. This smells great and dries quickly, however I must reapply halfway through the day otherwise it wears off4
Love the scent. Easily to apply. It does leave a wet feeling and it has no antibacterial properties, so you can start to smell. This deo needs to be traveling with you. However- no baking soda, so I don't break out in hives! That's a plus.3
I wanted to love this deodorant and its' natural ingredients, but something in it didn't agree with my skin and left me with a rash. I don't have sensitive skin at all so I was surprised, and even gave it a second go after the first rash healed (hoping something else was at play), but alas, this product left me red and chafed. The smell was great and did the job on the few sets of days I was able to wear it.3
I was hoping this deodorant would do as claimed, and zap odors from my skin. However, it didn't. I also didn't care for the smell.1
When I first opened the deodorant, the smell of eucalyptus was a little strong and almost like grandma's tiger balm. Fear not - the smell goes away quickly and it also dries quickly, leaving a light, fresh scent that seems to last most of the day. It's also not super thick or pasty so once it dries, it doesn't seem to leave much residue on clothing.5
I used to never wear deodorant on a regular basis. Maybe for special occasions or on very hot days but I don't sweat much. However, I got this since I liked the natural ingredients and thought it could be a nice general perfume almost since I love the smell of eucalyptus. After using it for a month I had to stop since it actually caused me to sweat much more than I had ever before I started to use it. It feels like it blocks my pores and changed my natural body odor in a way I really did not like. It actually took a few months for my body to get back to its normal state.1
