There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
I liked the idea of these little socks but they wouldn't stay on my feet. I wear size 12 shoes and they just wouldn't stretch enough to stay on. If they had some that actually fit and stayed on, I would have bought these as I wear loafers without socks all the time.1
I live in Georgia and have several pairs of shoes I wear sockless in the summer. Wanted to try these with a pair of leather dress shoes for a more cooler (temperature) approach to business casual at work. I was barely out of the house before the heel was off and into the middle of my foot in the bottom of the shoe. Wouldn't purchase them separately and probably won't be trying the ones from my box any longer.1
It might be because of my size 12 feet, but the socks just wouldn't stay on my feet. Good premise, but I will just stick with going sans socks and some foot powder next time with the loafers.1
I really didn't like these socks at all. They were too thin and really oddly shaped. I felt like I was wearing the little hose feet covers that shoe stores have in case people forget their socks.
Others may like it but it was definitely not for me.
The socks didn't work as advertised. One of the main selling points is that it can prevent slipping, which is not true at all.1
I don't get these socks. I ended up giving them to my girlfriend who will use them with her shoes.1
My boyfriends initial reaction to seeing these socks was confusion, I explained they were wearing with loafers or other low cut shoe. He still didn't see the point of them. He doesn't own loafers and the only low cut shoes he wears are slippers. So these sat in the box for a few days before he decided he wanted to try them on. I put one on his foot and "Nope." he thinks they are really weird.
They fit me though and I loved how soft they were as well as the grippy parts in the back to keep them on my heel. All of the socks like this I've tried for women haven't had that and they always end up sliding off. Somehow they fit both of us even though he wears a 12/13 and I wear a women's 7.5. They will probably be in my regular rotation this summer with my flats.
While this sock is great for Loafer sock guys, it really just wasn't for me. I'm strickly a tennis shoe or flip flop guy, but these make a great fathers day gift for my in-law!1
I'm more of sandals wearer than a "appear not to be wearing socks with shoes" guy. I don't really find these to be useful.1
This product keep slipping off my foot in my shoe, which made the product baseless. Was sad because I actually needed something like this - the advertised gelholder in the sock didnt work either. I did bring the sock to an urban outfitters and bought a paid there.1
