There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
I like the concept of loafer socks, especially when it's moderately cold and I want to wear my shoes. However, these ones bunched up quite a bit almost as soon as I slipped them in my shoes. I'll try it again when it warms back up, but so far, these are a no go for me.2
As others have indicated, they just didn't stay on my feet - which is unfortunate because I'm a fan of "no show" socks.2
I own other brands of loafer socks. I will stick with those other brands. These end up slipping off the heel, while I'm walking. The discomfort of having them bunched up under the ball of my foot is worse than walking barefoot. Skip this brand!2
Was very excited about these socks. They are soft and they fit well and they don't show. However, they also didn't stay on my heel and I ended up having to keep readjusting them.2
I like the concept, especially the little grippers in the heal...unfortunately they didn't work. I have big feet and they would slip off my heal, bunching up under my foot.2
I never wear any type of sock with my boat shoes but decided to try these out. They were incredibly comfortable from when I put them on. But... I'm not sure if they were just too small for my size 12 feet or if they were more concept than practice because after a few steps the heal of the sock had rolled up under the ball of my foot (not good if you're actually, you know, walking). Nice socks to have on and be stationary, but that's not the point of socks, is it?2
My feet are too big. They stretch, but I've got a nice blister on my right heel from my shoe rubbing against it. Worked much better on the left foot. Weird. I'll try them again with softer shoes, maybe my Toms.2
They kept falling off my feet in my loafers so it was just not for me2
While I appreciate and understand the concept, for me, I don't usually wear loafers and have ankle socks for my sneakers and dress shoes. Additionally, I have size 12/13 feet and these were just too small and fairly ineffective for me. Perhaps if I wore loafers more often, or had smaller feet, these would have been a better product for me.2
These look to be a good pair of socks, but that is all they are. And the size I received in my box look to be a little small on me (I wear size 13) and so while they are meant to be cut for loafers they were even small than they should be, and I do not have shoes that would facilitate the wearing of these socks.
Not for me.
