There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
It's a good thought to avoid those stinky summer shoes but i'd rather put up with powdering my smelly dogs at the end of the day then CONSTANTLY having to get the balled up mess of sock out from under the arch of my foot and back on my heel. They slip off INSTANTLY. even when walking from my room to the front door without shoes on! I don't know if maybe strips instead of the rubber dots would make a difference but these are probably finding a home in the back of the drawer for a loooong time. good thing they don't take up too much room.2
I really liked the color and style of these socks and was looking forward to them. Ended up disappointed as they won't stay on my heel like other no-show socks do.2
This was the solution I was looking for cause I love the look of sockless, but I hate the aftermath of taking the shoes off after a night of walking, dancing, and trotting around town. You need the Niché wipes just for your feet! So when I got the Vivarati socks I was stoked! But to my dismay they don't stay on my size 10 feet, I find that they're good for walking around the office-- and that's it. You try and skip over a water puddle or click your heels together you'll find that they slip off your heels quicker than Pietro Maximoff can run the 100 meters. If they only could stay on so I could electric slide the night away.2
I was looking forward to these when I opened my box. I thought they would be good with a pair of Sperrys or even as a little something between me and my TOMS. I wore them for a couple of hours and they had slipped down my toes within minutes every time I pulled them up. I wear a size 12 so maybe that was a factor, but I was an unhappy camper.2
love the concept, but in reality it didn't work. they just kept falling off of my feet inside my loafers.
I'm a size 12 - maybe my feet are too big. Would have loved to have had this work, but unfortunately it didn't.
My feet are just a bit on the smaller side, so there may be some issue with the socks not stretching enough to provide tension, but the heals on these socks always come off and end up under the balls of my feet while I'm walking. It appears they have tried to prevent this problem by adding "sticky" dots to the inside of the heal to help it stay on, but no such luck. I love the idea of these socks, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired.2
I like the idea as no one wants to have smelly feet but, darn things wouldn't stay on through out the day and I found myself digging into my shoes quite often.2
Wore them once and they drove me crazy. They would not stay on my feet, kept falling down in my shoes.2
Sadly, these no-show socks have the same issue as many others - they don't stay put. I have tried them with tied oxfords, boat shoes and slip on loafers and each time, I have to stop to hike up my socks. The material is extremely comfortable and they stay on at first, but after some walking and after a wash, they can't seem to hold themselves up any longer. Comfy for wearing around the house, though.2
I wanted to like these socks but they wouldn't stay on my feet. I was constantly pulling at them which gets old quickly.2
