There’s something so liberating about going sockless—until your feet start sweating. And while powders and foot deodorants will absorb some of the perspiration and odor, there’s no way to fully replace the myriad benefits of a sock without actually wearing one. Here’s the ultimate solution: no-show socks, which give the appearance of bare feet without the smelly side effects.
I tried two pairs of these socks and they did work as advertised. The placement of the rubber balls in the socks holds them in place, and, due to the cut they are well-hidden - they do look strange though, so I would not recommend walking around in them without expecting to answer some questions.3
What a cool surprise in last month's Birchbox. I never would have sought out or purchased these socks without receiving not 1 but 2 pairs as a sample. I have already worn them- they worked great with boat shoes but tended to slip a little at the heal. Not a big deal at all. Good product.4
I was looking forward to these when I opened my box. I thought they would be good with a pair of Sperrys or even as a little something between me and my TOMS. I wore them for a couple of hours and they had slipped down my toes within minutes every time I pulled them up. I wear a size 12 so maybe that was a factor, but I was an unhappy camper.2
They seemed like they were good quality, but I just do not like these types of socks. If you do then you should give them a try.5
If you want no-show socks, these pretty much have you covered. They are thin and really low, like really-really low. They felt kinda cheap when I first got them, but they are actually pretty high quality and hold up well after washing. They also have some rubber things in the heals to keep them on your feet, but for some reason, the right one always slides down on me. Overall, worth a shot if you need some socks like this.3
I love this concept and the socks are nice and light weight. The problem is the heel tends to slide down in my shoes. If they could fix this issue, I would more.3
love the concept, but in reality it didn't work. they just kept falling off of my feet inside my loafers.
I'm a size 12 - maybe my feet are too big. Would have loved to have had this work, but unfortunately it didn't.
I thought these socks are AWESOME for boat shoe / loafer type situations. I've always loved the look of boat shoes, but hated how badly the smelt after a couple of wears in the heat of the summer.
This keeps the smell of the shoes in check and provides an extra level of comfort. They look VERY weird on your feet, so not exactly something you want to be caught wearing, but if unseen, are super comfortable and a great idea. I would definitely recommend them
Loved the idea but the heel grips did not keep the socks from slipping. I wasn't able to make it out of my front door before the socks had slipped off my heels.1
My feet are just a bit on the smaller side, so there may be some issue with the socks not stretching enough to provide tension, but the heals on these socks always come off and end up under the balls of my feet while I'm walking. It appears they have tried to prevent this problem by adding "sticky" dots to the inside of the heal to help it stay on, but no such luck. I love the idea of these socks, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired.2
