With hinges along the sides and bridge, these shades are the ultimate grab-and-go accessory. Available in both black and tortoiseshell, they feature a timeless silhouette that will flatter any face, and a handy storage case to keep them safe when not in use.
The person who said they are Persol lookalikes has clearly never seen Persols. I actually have a pair and you can tell immediately that these are cheap imitations, just by weight alone. I received the black in my box, and would not recommend this color. I think for $25 you'd be better off forgoing the benefit from smaller footprint and just get a $10 pair of imitation wayfarers instead. A huge flaw is that they have zero reflection, so you look like a noob wearing them in this day and age. Everyone I showed them to thought the box they came in was the best part!2
The idea, style, packaging, and color of this product is spot-on. I was happy after opening the package and finding a pair of back-up sunglasses. Unfortunately, the shades broke after 3 uses - and not by accident.... by design.
The metal clip that forms the hinge of the folding shades is made of cheap pot metal. After minimal use and ZERO stress on the product structure, the pot metal gave way and left me with two halves of sunglasses.
These shades were actually better quality than I expected. They sit really close to the face though.3
I didn't have too much of an issue with these. I'm just not sure they were really for my head in particular. If they were in a bit more of the standard wayfarer frame, I'd totally be down with them. But I do really enjoy the fold-up/carrying case.3
Someone asked me if I broke my sunglasses while I was wearing these. They're basically my new backup sunglasses so I won't break or ruin my good pair3
I loved these. I plan on purchasing the other color.5
I very much enjoy the shape of these shades and the folding design is cool. The folds do make them feel a little flimsier than I'm used to and they don't fit everyones face, but for an inexpensive pair of sunglasses, they're great. They're very current stylistically and I love the keyhole and the tortoise.4
I like how these shades are meant for travel and fold up to easily place in a bag or suitcase. They are well crafted and great from just about anyone.4
The idea of these glasses is way better than the actual glasses. The style is a bit weird for my face. They look great on my 5 year old son though!2
First of all the product did not fit my face. Even if it did I am not a big fan of the fold-away glasses. I guess this is supposed to be a convenience because it gets so small, but I am not a fan of all the hinge pieces that then have to come with it.2
