Remember how cool it was every time one of the Transformers would unravel into a robot? Well, these folding sunglasses operate under the same awesome principle. Available in both black and tortoiseshell, these stylish shades feature a timeless silhouette that will flatter any face. They also come with a handy storage case to ensure they don’t get stepped on or scratched when not in use. Think of them as the Optimus Prime of eyewear.
I love the box with magnetic clasp. Sadly, though, my sunglasses were missing the screw that holds the side to the lenses. Even worse was that my own repair kit's screws didn't fit. Bah!2
Well, they fold up pretty slim... But that's about the only positive thing I can say. The lenses are a bit too big and cartoony for me, and the frame looks like walmart quality plastic. Pass.2
Not very pleased with these. Not sure if mine just weren't as sturdy but they broke after a couple days of use. Also they seemed a bit small for my head, but I think I just have a large one.2
These things are just not stylish, comfortable or utilitarian. It's good in theory, but that's it. I wouldn't recommend them to a friend.2
I have a huge head (I guess) and these didn't fit at all. I gave them to my daughter and she got a kick out of them but... Just give me a pair of real sunglasses that fold flatter than the box and fit me better.2
I liked the idea of folding sunglasses. The form factor was great. The included carrying case was perfect for throwing in a bag or in my car.
The style was a bit more european than my normal taste. But, not too bizarre.
However, the glasses weren't as wide as I'd like and the arms weren't as long as i'd like.
My biggest knock though, is the durability, the number one quality a cheap pair of banger glasses needs is resilience. One drop from waist height took these dudes down. Split, irreparably on the nose.
They sunglasses look nice, but broke within two days of use. Kind of a bummer, if you want some cool shades I would look somewhere else.2
This product is definitely unique as in I have never seen sunglasses like this before. I did wear them once and was asked by multiple people about them. However, because they are foldable there are many pivot points on frames which makes them more likely to break. If you are careful with them and use the nifty case they come in I'm sure you can get some use out of them, but overall these were not for me.2
I liked the idea of these sunglasses and I think the lenses are fine. But, the frames are too small, and I do not like the style of the frames. I still gave them a try, but one of the hinges fell apart. So, poor marks on style, sizing, and construction.2
These look okay but they are not durable or even a little robust. Mine broke after a week of light wear when one of the plastic hinges snapped of while being unfolded. Buy these if you plan on babying them and be sure to open them very gently.2
