Remember how cool it was every time one of the Transformers would unravel into a robot? Well, these folding sunglasses operate under the same awesome principle. Available in both black and tortoiseshell, these stylish shades feature a timeless silhouette that will flatter any face. They also come with a handy storage case to ensure they don’t get stepped on or scratched when not in use. Think of them as the Optimus Prime of eyewear.
These are a great, compact option for a backup pair of sunglasses, in case you desperately need a pair in the car or something. The frame is a bit small, perhaps I just have a large head but the arms are a tad short and the overall width of the glasses puts a decent amount of pressure on my temples, which makes wearing them for extended periods of time rather uncomfortable.
I could see these being a fantastic and practical pair of glasses for those individuals with smaller heads.
I love my folding sun glasses. They fit in my dress shirt pocket and look cool when i'm putting them on.5
Compact/folding sunglasses are always a goal in not wanted to bend/warp the frames. The case is ideal for protection from scratching the lenses as well. While both look good, I opted for tortoise version and am very happy with pair thus far. Hoping other frame designs will follow!4
The folding sunglasses concept is interesting, but I'm not quite sure the foldability makes a difference. The hinge in the center is a bit unsightly up close. For this specific pair the temples are too also too short, making them a bit uncomfortable. The packaging was nice and the sunglasses work, they just miss the mark as a whole.3
These were in my fiancé's box, and are just way too small for his big man-head. He loves everything about them, and wishes he could wear them, but they fit my tiny girl head just right. Wish there was a bigger size for him.5
They are great for a spare pair of glasses. They come in a case so you can throw them in your bag4
This product is definitely unique as in I have never seen sunglasses like this before. I did wear them once and was asked by multiple people about them. However, because they are foldable there are many pivot points on frames which makes them more likely to break. If you are careful with them and use the nifty case they come in I'm sure you can get some use out of them, but overall these were not for me.2
I liked the idea of these sunglasses and I think the lenses are fine. But, the frames are too small, and I do not like the style of the frames. I still gave them a try, but one of the hinges fell apart. So, poor marks on style, sizing, and construction.2
These look okay but they are not durable or even a little robust. Mine broke after a week of light wear when one of the plastic hinges snapped of while being unfolded. Buy these if you plan on babying them and be sure to open them very gently.2
My boyfriend got these in his box and I was very excited about them. However, when he got them, he didn't love them. He already has a pair of sunglasses he loves, so maybe that was it, but he does have them in his car "just in case". I think they are a genius design and they are very cool looking, plus they fit right in the glove box. If you are looking for a pair of sunglasses that are fairly inexpensive, look cool and will be easy to store, these are your sunglasses. They are a great back-up pair to shove in a backpack, gym bag or any bag you may take with you outside. They come in a great carrying case.3
