While jumping out of a plane or swimming with sharks might give you more of a rush, this scrub will add some slightly safer excitement to your shower routine. Gritty but still gentle enough to use several times a week, this electrifying essential helps skin look and feel smooth. The added peppermint oil provides a cooling tingle that lasts long after you’ve dried off.
This is the lotion BirchBox equivalent to Axe Body Spray.2
Let me start with I love Billy Jealousy products, but this one didn't do it for me. The peppermint smell was overpowering and the scrub had no cleansing action in it whatsoever. It's a pure exfoliating scrub - so you also need to clean first. Also, the sample packaging didn't work right - I had to remove the cap to force squeeze it out.2
The exfoliating crystals in this product are quite large, and I felt like they were just pushed around instead of actually exfoliating.2
This stuff just doesn't seem to have much of a "scrub" to it. Instead it feels more like there are small, smooth little ball bearings in it - but they don't do much exfoliating or anything.2
The only good thing about this product was the smell. The texture was decent, but I didn't really feel an energy boost after applying to my face.2
I like this as a body scrub , but as a face scrub , it doesn't seem to work.2
This scrub didn't do it for me. The mintiness wasn't strong enough, and it wasn't rough enough to exfoliate. But it also didn't seem that great as a cleanser. Wouldn't buy. Also, hate how difficult it is to squeeze product out of the sample tube.2
This scrub did not feel effective at all. I've had much better success with exfoliating scrubs that are 1/5th the price2
Didn't do it for me as a body/face scrub. Maybe for regular use just as a facial wash it might be ok, as the peppermint is refreshing like a nice after shave. But as a full body wash in shower it is a little much. Also the texture is more like a lotion or shaving cream than a true body wash.2
I liked the minty feel of this face/body wash, but I really prefer the liquid sand scrub that I got a couple of boxes back. I liked that one so much I bought a full sized bottle. This feels a little slimy to apply to my face and the scrub part doesn't really do anything. I'll use the sample up on my body, but I won't order it.2
