While jumping out of a plane or swimming with sharks might give you more of a rush, this scrub will add some slightly safer excitement to your shower routine. Gritty but still gentle enough to use several times a week, this electrifying essential helps skin look and feel smooth. The added peppermint oil provides a cooling tingle that lasts long after you’ve dried off.
I hoped that this would be a suitable replacement for the Kiehl's Facial Fuel that has been out of stock here, but it wasn't. I like the texture and aroma, but it doesn't lather and it didn't work well on my face - perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I have a (close-cropped) beard.3
I have never heard of this product before receiving my Birch Box, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fragrance and fresh feeling it left behind. I tried it first after a long day in the kitchen when I was cleaning up after work. The bright mint scent immediately woke up my senses as I worked it deep in to my beard. Adrenaline Junkie I think could be marketed differently with the name but the sample product alone has me sold on it quality.5
The use of the mint oil opens the pores and leaves you feeling relaxed & refreshed. One of the best facial scrubs that I have used.5
This facial scrub leaves a nice fresh feeling, and unlike the "oil free" swarm of other products, it doesn't leave my skin dry (and subsequently oily). Smells nice, too.5
Really does rejuvenate as advertised. Great smell and texture, leaves face feeling refreshed.5
I couldn't figure out if this was a face wash, body wash, or something else. It seemed to scented and rugged for the face, but too weak and not lathery enough for body. I just didn't know what to make of it.3
I liked the smell, and the texture was ok, but I'm not sure I would buy it. I would consider it.3
Can't say I notice a difference in cleansing/moisturizing. There are better face scrubs out there.3
I loved the scent of this scrub. It was light and pepperminty but was not overbearing.
While I did enjoy the slight tingle my face got out of the peppermint, I didn't feel that my face was as clean as I would have liked.
When my boyfriend first got this and smelled it he wasn't really into it. He read it and saw that it was a face wash, he wasn't particularly interested in a face wash. I told it him it was also a body wash and he said he try it. Although the fact that it's supposed to be "energizing" is kind of a negative for us because we generally shower at night. Anyways, he tried it, he didn't like it, he said it didn't lather up and it smelled weird.1
