Few phrases strike terror in the hearts of men quite like this one: "male-pattern baldness." Quell your fears with this award-winning shampoo, which fights hair loss from the root. Menthyl lactate and peppermint oil help block DHT formation (the main culprit of balding), while dissolving sebum and other scalp buildup. Meanwhile, a coconut-derived conditioner and Vitamin B5 leave your stands looking mighty-fine.
I knew a guy named Billy once. Not William, just straight up Billy. His parents smoked a lot of pot.
This shampoo is cool but also reminded me of Billy, who is dead but was a cool guy. 4 stars for muthafuckin Billy.
I gave this to my dad, who's balding and he loved it. I myself, with a full head of hair, didn't really like it. I did like the peppermint scent but it was very subtle and I prefer to really smell the peppermint in my products, helps wakes me up. But this product was subtle with scent and I felt I like I had to wash twice to get hair really clean and it felt a little greasy after washing. I wouldn't buy it again due to so many better options for hair care. But, if you're losing your hair, my father would recommend it because he noted he could tell a distinct difference in the thickness of his hair.3
I'm liking the smell of this shampoo and it leaves my scalp and hair feeling great. Still need more time to see if it strengthens the hair and helps it grow but so far so good.5
I have add this product to my essential list. It leave hair clean and full. I can't comment on the product's claim to "fight hair loss from the root" nor whether it changes the likelihood of "male pattern baldness", but it does leave hair feeling clean and full. I use this product in an alternating regime with one other shampoo (also available via Birchbox). Overall, top rate shampoo I have tried and now include in my routine "essential" products order. The only down side is that it is not very thick out of the bottle, so you end up pouring out more than is actually necessary.5
I will preface that I do have buzzed hair, but am sent shampoos from time to time. If they need arose, I would use this product regularly. The combination of lather and fragrance are a great mix, with lasting effects.4
While I can't say if this has done anything to strengthen my hair, I do like the scent, which is energizing, and its wash-ability.4
smell, texture, cleanliness after use is great. doesn't leave hair feeling heavy. If only sample was a bit bigger.
worked great on thin hair.........................5
I liked this shampoo. It smells good. I do not have thinning hair/baldness/receding hairline so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the product. The shampoo made my head tingle which was cool. I'd buy it because of the smell/tingle and then hope it really does prevent hair loss.5
Wasn't really for me with my thick hair--did not lather, but the smell was good.3
