Even the most buttoned-up among us have the urge to flash some personality in their wardrobe. Enter: these awesome, fun-colored shoelaces. Perfect for adding a small-but-still-noticeable dash of style and color, these waxed cotton wonders will earn you compliments both in and out of the office.
I bought these to replace the brown laces that came with my wingtips. They give my shows a nice pop of color and they seem well made (only been using them a week). I'll update my review in a few months to let you know how they hold up. They were a few inches shorter than the laces that came with my shoes, but they work fine for me.4
I bought a pair of orange laces to punch up an otherwise monotone pair of gray shoes. They add the perfect touch of whimsy to otherwise plain shoes. High quality, durable, and come in a great assortment of colors - I'll buy several so I can mix and match.4
I love this "Dick Philips" color. It's a nice, slightly muted, viridian. I stuck them on my beeswax desert boots and they look good. The only thing that I really disliked was the packaging. That black paper stuff is VERY sticky and it's wrapped around the laces three times. It leaves the sticky residue and it took me around 4 minutes to just get it all off. I had to scratch off little paper pieces and it was just a pain. Otherwise, they're great!4
Bought these for the hubby and he added to some black dress shoes for flair. We live in central PA though so he can't get away with some of the wild colors.
Would also love to buy black and brown as they are quality shoe laces!
The color of these shoelaces is great! And great quality as well. In a perfect world, I may have wanted these to be a bit thicker as they seem very thin.4
I purchased these because i wanted to add some color to my wardrobe shoes. I purchased the red ones to put in my boots and I haven't been disappointed to say the least. I have only had them in a couple days and have received multiple compliments. They seem pretty good quality, though I can check in later if they seem to wear down quick. It should be noted these would probably be too short for a higher boots, but they are perfect for Chukkas.4
The shoestrings were broken in after the first two wears, and they are just the right touch to get some added attention or compliment by bringing a pair of shoes to life in a new way.4
Literally just purchased a set of 10 dif. colors from johnston & Murphy for a much more realistic price. The laces are nice, but I got pink and will not have a use for this color.4
If changing out the laces in your shoes / boots is your thing, give these a try. The color is nice and not too loud.4
I recently used these even though I got them in a birchbox a while ago. They're fun. They added some style to my shoes. But I thought they were kind of short. Maybe small bows are in style?4
