COOLA’s classic sunblock is everything we want in a daily SPF. The eco-friendly formula is made with 70 percent organic ingredients and protects from both the UVA rays that lead to premature aging, as well as the UVB rays that cause burns. The advanced formula tones skin and minimizes pores, while the refreshing cucumber scent is icing on the cake.
Lightweight and a refreshing smell, but I don't feel strongly enough about it to justify paying $32 for it. You could find a comparable moisturizer for way less.
I wore this once, put on an hour before going out, reapplied constantly, but ended up with the worst sunburn on my face - apparently the sunscreen comes off with sweat. Awful.
I was surprised when I opened my sample and out came a brown clay-like substance. I tried it anyway, but I think I am just partial to the traditional lotiony moisturizers. This left a film on my face and was hard to wash off.
Although it's nice that this moisturizer has spf, this is definitely not meant for oily or acne prone skin. There are several different types of oils in here that would only be suitable for normal/ dry skin types.
I was very excited about this product. I'm always looking for a new sunscreen that is more upscale than the typical sunscreen brands. Coola just didn't do it for me unfortunately. I applied it three different times while outside at my son's soccer games (all day tourney). I still came home with red shoulders and neck area. It was even a little sore the next morning.
This stuff made my entire face BREAK OUT. I don't know if it was just my skin's reaction to it, but there was nothing "cool" about it. Definitely won't be buying this.
I was looking forward to trying something from this product line. I think it feel short. I got sunburned with the product. :(
This is one of the strangest products I have ever tried. The texture was very dry - almost as if nothing was there but it was still a little gritty. The smell was fine, but the color... so yellow! I looked very ashen and sallow when I put it on. Definitely not for me.
Felt that the cucumber in this SPF was too cold against my face. It is probably more soothing/relaxing during those hot days, but this is not my first choice for sunscreen.
I didn't really like this much. I wish I received more makeup on a month-to-month basis instead of facial creams.
