Based in perpetually sunny California, COOLA knows a thing or two about soothing sunburn. Whether you've spent the day lounging at the beach or planting perennials, your sun-"kissed" skin deserves a little extra love. Smooth on this supermoisturizing organic lotion to help it recover. Unlike other gel after-sun lotions, this lightweight wonder has a silky, smooth texture and sinks into skin immeditately. Agave takes the sting out of sunburn, moisturizes, and promotes collagen synthesis to help repair your skin and reverse sun damage. Bonus: 70% of the ingredients are harvested from organic farms.
I tried this a couple of times. I started itching in the areas that I used this product. I am not a fan.1
made me break out everywhere. thought it smelt so good, though. i wish it would have worked out. I thought it was gonna be a lot better than it was.1
I keep getting Coola brand samples in my boxes. I like this Coola brand the least of all the Coola products I have received. I received it in the winter in a cold climate where I am not able to sample it as an after sun product since I'm all covered up from head to toe because of the cold weather. I did try it on my arm and it's kind of thick. I have skin prone to acne and foliculitis and I don't think I would dare to put a cream like this on my body. I think I will give this to a friend and stick to preventative sunscreen and products I already know won't cause issues on my skin.1
I'm not sure why Birchbox sent me an after-sun lotion in the middle of January in Wisconsin. I literally don't spend an extra second outside if I don't have to. I tried it as a moisturizer anyway, and it was just meh.1
I get that even in winter you need sun protection but no thanks!! Don't like the smell or texture, actually threw it away!!!1
It was strange to receive this in January. I wasn't going anywhere super sunny but SPF is always important. I have moisturizers with SPF so this was a little superfluous. Gave it a try and obviously can't say much about the effects, as I wasn't getting much sun exposure.1
I'm sure Coola ER would benefit someone who HAS been out in the sun for long periods of time suffering from sunburn and damaged skin from the sun's harmful rays. Unfortunately, I suffer from a debilitating and chronic illness that prevents me from going out in the sun for any length of time. This is the first time that I've received a sample that clearly isn't for me, nor would it benefit me. I've used other Coola products that has an SPF in them for those instances when I'm in the car facing the direct sunlight.1
Liked that it was organic, but was not particularly moisturizing. Also, I generally avoid the sun, so the product is not useful to me.1
I gave this stuff a shot a couple of different times and each time I used it it immediately made my face really itchy, very red, and blotchy. I had to toss it in the trash. I'm sure its a good product for some people but not for me. Thankfully it didn't cause my face to swell and the horrible redness and blotchness only lasted 30 mins or so.1
This stinks. Smells herbal-y gross. I didn't find it to be very moisturizing either. I can get a bottle of pure aloe for less than $5 and that works better1
