Drugstore deodorant contains aluminum and alcohol—the main culprits of pit stains. But when combatting B.O., "natural" can be code for "less than effective." This option gets the job done with a botanical lineup: Comfrey root extract and tea tree oil calm irritation, acai extract combats free radicals, chamomile hydrates, and witch hazel tones and prevents inflammation. Plus, a citrus and herbal musk scent is a step up from your typical stick.
This has a fresh, natural but not perfumy scent. It goes on easily and isn't sticky or clumpy. It is clear so there isn't any white flaky stuff all over. I like the packaging. It is easy to open and close and the right size for my hand. Fits perfectly on the shelf in the medicine cabinet too. It really does the job very well. No wetness or odor at all. I've tried many, many products and I think I've finally found the one I'm going to stick with.5
Seems like a really good deodorant. I personally font wear deodorant that often, but this is my go to at the moment. Smells really refreshing and goes on skin nicely.4
Got a sample of this in my monthly birchbox and immediately switched to this antiperspirant. It's worth the extra money to not seat and smell. This is a great company that I never knew existed until I got my first birchbox. Now I have and use a number of their products daily. This is one of them.5
I wish this was a antiperspirant, smells great though and goes on real nice.4
Dry but not too dry, great scent yet masculine, lasts all day. It just plain does its job - brilliantly.5
No aluminum is something I always wanted to try. I was worried it wouldn't be as effective to my normal brand. however after a full day my pits passed the sniff test. well done.4
I like Baxter of California products, and this deodorant was fine. I just always prefer antiperspirant. What's the point of smelling ok if you have huge sweat rings?3
I like that this is an "all natural" product without aluminum and alcohol, and the scent was pleasant. I usually wear antiperspirant and was a little surprised I didn't sweat when I wore only this deodorant. But it definitely got the job done...no odor at all (even after 24 hours). The cons were that it went on a little "sticky" and really kinda stayed that way, and it also caused some redness and irritation. With all the ingredients that are supposed to calm or prevent irritation, this really surprised me. I read some of the other reviews, and I wasn't the only one with sensitivity issues. I'm still using it, but only occasionally when I want a break from my regular antiperspirant.3
I really like the scent of this product and would probably use it if more I didn't need as much in the department of anti-perspirant. I usually get something that helps more prevent sweat rather than cover up the smell it leaves. I guess you can try and use this over a scent free anti perspirant though as the smell is very good.3
The packaging is unique since it is round but I like how it applies better then the oblong versions from any drug store. I also like the musky scent that adds a hint of sophistication.5
