If you seek industrial-strength hold without the look of a Ken doll, consider this highly competent pomade. A combination of clay and beeswax deliver all-day hold and a matte finish, while fennel, lemon peel, and sage oils give it a fresh, herby scent. The gritty balm will never leave neither oily sheen nor a single strand out of place.
Loved this product and used it for a few months. My only complain is that I had to wash my hair multiple times to feel clean after using it.4
Great product. Hold hair in place really well without being greesy or shiny. It does take some work with your hands to get it plyable though. Smells great too.5
I've never been able to find the right product for my difficult thick, cow licked, double-crowned hair. Until now. This product easily holds my hair the whole day with exactly the right amount of shine, strength, and texture. A little difficult to wash out, but with hair like this I couldn't care less.5
It's a little too sticky for my taste. It would work well for shorter hairstyles.2
Holds my hair in place with minimal product needed.5
I have straight hair, short on side (#4) and long on top (4in+). This Clay Pomade is a great product. One of the best I've used so far. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that will leave your hair looking natural.5
I have extremely thick, coarse hair and this is one of the only products to tame it all day long. They aren't kidding when they say you need a serious shampoo to get it out, though!5
I always have problems getting a product for my hair that works because my hair is so straight. This product works better than any gel, paste, or glue that I've used in the past. It makes my hair look natural but styled. The only thing I typically have to use in combination with it is a little bit of hairspray to catch the stray hairs that it has a problem holding down.5
It's not that this is a bad pomade, I just think for the price it should be a little bit more stiff or have a little less shine. It's like the one B of C product I haven't been 110% satisfied with. A little more hold would make this a great pomade.3
Clay is a good word for it. This product is overly sticky and difficult to work with. If you like a thick hold, however, you might like it?3
