If you can't pop into Baxter's Los Angeles barbershop—a throwback complete with vintage porcelain chairs and hot towel treatments—this shave cream is the next best thing. A smooth, spreadable formula provides a protective barrier for skin and paves the way for an extraclose shave. Botanicals like tea tree oil, witch hazel, menthol, and peppermint prevent razor burn while leaving behind the signature tingle of a shave well-done.
I like the shave cream. The sample only got me through three shaves. But using with a badger shave brush works well and it does the job. Nothing that is mind blowing but it's a good product.4
Super thick. Been playing with it. It overloads my Harry's razor. I will check out videos. Maybe if is an education thing.4
This stuff is so good. It makes my skin feel so great and makes my shave so close. I love birchbox shave products, but this is one of my favorites.5
This product goes on easily without much of a mess. It smells good, and would work very well with a badger brush. I highly recommend Baxter products.5
Was pleasantly surprised with the shave I got from this. It exceeded my expectations greatly. I would highly recommend. Had no irritation after the shave and it left a nice tingly feeling just as described.5
This close shave formula is the best thing since sliced bread! Not to mention the scent, with notes of menthol and teatree oil!5
I really liked using this product and had a great shave along with scent.5
I like Baxter of California products, so I already had a had high expectations. The texture and scent are both appealing. But as a man with curly and coarse hair, my shaving cream demands are exact. This doesn't lather anywhere near as much as my current go to brand does. So it's not enough to make me change brands.2
Nice citrus fresh scent and a great feel on the face. Shaving is smooth and glides over the skin.4
It's not at all bad, but honestly, for the intended purpose it's probably overkill to have all the witch hazel and whatnot. I don't really find a difference between this and random generic creams, but it does work.3
