Whether it’s dirt, sweat, or sunscreen, you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get rid of your ring-around-the-collar. This multitasker from The Laundress® handily eliminates stains in hard-to-reach places and travels awfully well. Stash a bar in your suitcase, and you’ll never have to worry about running out of clean clothes the next time you travel (also, no more bags of stinky clothes upon return from exotic locales).
This product works well and I was able to get some stains out of some of his (and my) clothes. I might purchase this one again since it's pretty cheap and I can see how it would be good to throw in a bag for travel. Not sure if I'd use it as a hand soap like the package also suggests.4
I went ahead and tested it out when I got it and it worked as advertised. However, why would I ever need this? I always pack an extra shirt and pair of pants when I travel and most hotels have access to a dry cleaner. It's just one more thing for me to think of.3
I like the smell and it works, I just don't have a use for it.3
im gonna take it when i go on vacation, pretty handy.5
I typically would not use something like this when traveling1
I used this once and it did the trick. I don't use it enough to buy it, though.4
The Laundress wash and stain bar is a really great idea. It easily stores on our laundry room shelf, and works wonders on "ring around the collar."5
This product is a great middle of the day stain remover and works well without needing much added water.4
I went ahead and pulled it out of the wrapper and gave it a shot on a ring around the collar. It did a fair job at getting the stains out. However, why do I need this soap? I always have an extra piece of clothing with me on trips and most hotels have access to a dry cleaner if necessary. So, in summary, good product but no need for it.3
I was a little hesitant when I received this product in my box because it marketed itself as a good stain remover for travel yet as we know a bar of soap can get messy once it's wet, ironically. I have a light colored canvas backpack that I like to wear and because it hangs low, the dark rinse on my jeans tends to rub off on the backpack and stain it, so I decided to put the bar to the test. I was able to gently scrub the bag and remove most of the stain (which is actually dye). I was very pleased with the Laundress Wash and Stain bar as it smelt familiar like a bar of soap I would shower with and also it wasn't harsh at all on my skin.4
